The food was mediocre and wouldn’t really call it “authentic”. I wanted to try this place since it was pretty well known and has been around for a long time, but I would not make an effort to visit here again.

The beef ribs 소갈비구이 were nice, but the kimchi 김치 wasn’t ripe enough, the galbi-jjim 갈비찜 was smothered in chilli powder (I don’t mind spicy galbi-jjim, but not made in this way!), nothing seafood was available, galbi-tang 갈비탕 had too much radish stock that it took away the rich flavour of beef broth, and the soft tofu stew 순두부찌개 wasn’t thick enough that it felt more like a soup...

I have eaten here a few times. I decided I wanted to try it again and was looking forward to eating soondubu. (By the way I have been on a quest looking for good soondubu here in Manila. Nothing has come to par with Koreano which has closed so long ago and I miss it so much.) Wait was long and when it came there was no egg.
