Shakey's (Park Square) — Restaurant in Makati

Terrible service. No lineup but the waitress told us it would be “45 min to an hour” for a table after we walked in. As she said this a woman who was leaving offered us hers, which made the waitress upset and while she cleared the table she didn’t wash it with a cloth. We had to go ask the manager (!) for menus and to place our order. If you don’t want to serve customers just close for the night and save everyone from feeling like they’re disrupting your evening. Was eating with two foreigner friends who were visiting Manila for the first time - they now have quite the opinion of Filipino “hospitality.” They only had 1 napkin when we asked for them. The food was bad: while the pizza was so-so the salad had a litre of dressing on it and the lemonade was essentially sugar water. We couldn’t finish any of it. This is the worst Shakeys store we have ever been to. The service is really bad unlike other Shakeys store. The waiters and kitchen staff were clearly ignoring all the customers and were all just looking at their computer monitors or cleaning tables. When we asked for water 3x, it didnt arrive. We had to personally approach the counter to get water. There were only 4 tables occupied at that time and the store was small so it was impossible to be ignored by the numerous staff. Even the kitchen staff ignored the customers and didnt even bother telling the waiters service is needed. Out of all the Shakey I've been to for my visit here in the Philippine, this one is absolute trash. Imagine having to ask for water 3+ times before it was serve, food wait is 40 minutes plus. The pizza was ready but the waitress was busy laughing and giggling at the cashier counter. I think her name was "Adam"? Probably borrowing another employee jacket. Don't bother going here, go to an expensive restaurant, better service for a high end area. 30 minutes + for a salad too... funny joke but it's not, sober up from alcohol with a vengeance...
