Wendy's - SM Jazz Mall — Restaurant in Makati

Been quite a while since I've had Wendy's, so I decided to order 2 Dave's Double Burgers with Cheese Meals and 2 Chocolate Frosties.

Dave Thomas was the founder of Wendy's. He used to be with KFC for some time before putting up his own brand and chain. Wendy is the nickname of his daughter Melinda.

Wendy's prides itself with burgers that are so fresh because they come from beef that's never been frozen. Dave's Double is hefty. It has over half a pound of burger patties with lettuce, onions and tomatoes. The mayo is tart and compliments the entire package. Because their patties are square, it is said that grilling is uniform and even.

Missed the Chocolate Frosty. It is like frozen milkshake that one sip will give you the feeling that everything is going...

I had the new Tex-Mex Beef Bowl solo (P175.00). The dish itself is unexemplary and I would not try it again. Pretty much your typical Wendy's beef burger patty with "tex-mex" sauces and toppings over a bowl of rice. Heat was also quite mild. I wish they would do something with the rice. Maybe have seasoned or fried rice?

I like Wendy's patties but I think it works better as hamburger than the rice bowl here. There is a chicken option which, presumably uses the chicken patty they use for their chicken sandwiches.

I went in a little past 11:00AM so there were just a few customers. Service was quick and did not need to take a number and wait for my order.

Currently visiting Makati for a little while, and have had nothing but good experiences so far at this location. I've pretty much only had frosty or some variation, and breakfast sandwiches.

I don't honestly know if the reviews within the last year or so about portion sizes being smaller are true, being a visiting foreigner and all, but I can say that obviously sizes are bigger in America anyway... So, I wouldn't know the...
