Chubby Crab is a seafood lover’s dream! From the moment you step in, the casual yet charming ambiance sets the tone for a laid-back dining experience. The restaurant is known for its hearty portions of fresh seafood and their signature crab dishes, and they do not disappoint.

Food: The crab legs are the star of the show—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Their garlic butter sauce adds a rich layer of flavor, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. The mixed seafood(crabs, shrimps and shells) are superb.

Service: The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure your table has everything you need. They do a great job explaining the menu, especially for newcomers like us. But did not provide us with Apron.

Atmosphere: It’s a relaxed, casual setting with nautical decor, perfect for families or large groups looking to dig into seafood without the fuss. The vibe is lively Boracay vibe, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy a meal.

Value: For the portion sizes and quality of seafood, Chubby Crab offers reasonable pricing. You get plenty of food, and most dishes are meant to be shared, making it ideal for group dining.

Final Thoughts: If you’re craving fresh, flavorful seafood in a laid-back environment, Chubby Crab Boracay is a must-visit. Whether you’re a seasoned seafood lover or trying it out for the first time, you’ll leave with a fullbelly and a chubby smile.

I'm thrilled that Chubby Crab has finally opened a branch in Bora. I've been a huge fan of the quality of their seafood since they opened in Makati. The Cajun sauce is to die for, and my tummy would seriously be happy with just the sauce and the rice, lol. Every time I fly back home and visit Bora, I've always wished for an authentic Cajun seafood boil to open, just like the ones we have in the Bay Area but with Philippine seafood. OMG... prayers answered!

I ordered the Chubby Nga in Cajun sauce, and it comes with the juiciest 5 pcs. crabs, shrimps, clams, sweetest corn, and sausage (Seafood paradise right there!). We also got the perfectly seasoned garlicky noodles... because why not! The Cajun flavor was on point, and you can tell that the seafood selection was carefully handpicked from their supplier. To complete the Bora experience, we also got the Oyster sisig! I was a little skeptical at first, but my first bite of that sizzling dish was so crunchy and flavorful I could not stop eating. Definitely a must-try!

Such a great dinner experience that I highly recommend to seafood lovers like my boys. Lastly, but the most important part, is the warm and impeccable service that we received from the staff. It was already a treat that the interior was nicely designed to fit the island theme, but it was a whole other level to get the authentic Filipino five-star service from start to finish. Let's get...

Chubby CrabPH – Where Seafood Dreams Come True!

If you’re in the Philippines and love seafood, Chubby CrabPH needs to be on your list! As a family born in the Philippines but raised in the Bay Area, California, we were on a mission for comfort food that hit home—and wow, did we find it.

The Spam Fries disappeared in seconds. The kids loved them so much we had to order more (pretty sure they would’ve eaten just that if we let them). The shrimp and crab were insanely good—so good, in fact, that we willingly became their personal shell-peeling service. Worth it.

We also devoured crispy pata, oysters, noodles, pork liempo, and the spicy crab & shrimp family meal. The real MVP? The vinegar was so good we basically sipped it like tea. And don’t even get us started on the crispy pata sauce—it was next-level addictive.

By the end, we were so full we went straight for the Tiger Balm massage next door, leaving us both satisfied and officially chubby.

Bottom line: If you love seafood and crispy pata, Chubby CrabPH is a must. Just be ready to fight your kids for...
