I would like to thank the captain who assisted us this evening (august 30, 2024). We went to Yawaragi tonight to have dinner buffet, apparently we didn't reserve seat, and the restaurant was fully booked. At first, the reception said that she cannot give us table, since all the tables are already booked/reserved. However, the captain (we wasn't able to get his name) assisted us and called client who reserve those table, to confirm if they are still going to the restaurant. Luckily, the captain was able to get a table for us. He assisted us to our table, and asked for our order for drinks. Our group enjoyed the dinner, through out the night. Service was great and exceeded our expectation. Food quality are also good and meet the standard (the choices is not as much as other hotel buffet, but almost all food have good quality). The space of the restaurant is also good, which make us comfortable. I would recommend Yawaragi, if you are after the quality of food (not the quantity of choices). I would like to specially mention their coffee, as their coffee is one of that i really enjoyed this month. Keep up the good work, and thank you so much for a wonderful night. We will definitely be back for more. btw, we also availed the...
Read moreWe went here to try their buffet as advertised in their website and some social media sites. They boasted of robotoyaki, seafood, chilled sashimi, black cod , and unlimited alcohol. To our dismay, it was only for Sunday lunch a mistake a few of the patrons that night thought that they were paying for since the advertised rates included all of those they mentioned.
They had exactly 14 dishes available this night. The only saving grace was the lobster and oysters. But then again, there was no sauce available like melted butter or even cheese on your lobster. The sashimi slices were comparable to something you’d get in sambokojin tiny slices. It didn’t taste premium at all.
The tempura was sad. It was cold and way too crunchy, the sauce container was tiny I doubt you can dip the shrimp. For a Japanese buffet there wasn’t a lot of japanese dishes.
Some things were out of place, like paella, fried chicken and even beef goulash. Price for this kind of buffet was steep at 2900. The service also wasn’t great.
The place was beautiful but then again it doesn’t compensate for what you thought you were paying for when...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a peaceful, refined spot to unwind and indulge in a beautiful afternoon tea, Yawaragi is a hidden gem worth discovering.
We visited during tea time and were immediately impressed by the exquisite ambiance—elegant interiors, soft lighting, and most importantly, plenty of privacy, which made the entire experience feel extra special. It’s the kind of place where time slows down and the stress of the outside world melts away.
The tea set was delightful—thoughtfully curated and well-balanced, with every bite complementing the next. The highlight for me was the mango tea—fragrant, smooth, and uniquely refreshing. Truly a treat for the palate, perfect for a mid-afternoon indulgence.
What made the experience even more memorable was the cordial and attentive staff, who checked in on us just enough to make us feel cared for, without ever being intrusive. Their warm hospitality matched the elegance of the space perfectly.
Yawaragi’s tea time was relaxing, luxurious, and soul-soothing—everything you could ask for in a quiet afternoon escape. Can’t wait to return and try their...
