STAY AWAY. We just left this place. We all agreed to never speak on this place again. What a train wreck, don’t get fooled by the terrace. Greeted with a grin and “go sit anywhere”, I should have turned away. This was our experience for lunch:
Apps: Basket of stale bread, 2 little cups of hard butter (just like to ones you get on a plane), 2 cups of anchovy paste (same small cup), cheese, olives and cooked slices of carrots. Nothing was fresh, except for the cheese. The dead reheated carrots for yesterday were covered in garlic to cover whatever dish they were accompanied with that prior evening. Mains: Kids had a pizza each. Actually, one ate one slice and the other stopped because I told him to. How to describe this garbage of a meal: well, pick the cheapest frozen pizza from your local grocery, cook it for half of the required time and serve it on a wet plate. It was like eating wet pita with unmelted white cheese. Horrendous. Tuna salad: chop salad, open can of tuna and add 1 hard boiled egg. Lifeless. Grilled chicken: Surely, they can’t miss right? Wrong. This dead bird was drier than the Australian Outback. This bird was likely cooked the night before and stored in the fridge (perhaps with the lifeless carrots mentioned above). Cutting into the chicken meat was like exposing earth’s inner tectonic plates. I swear that if you spill your drink, don’t use the napkins, the chicken will soak up the mess much better.
Honestly, this place is a joke. I couldn't help myself looking around at all the other patrons getting screwed by the absolute trash of a “restaurant”.
Lagos is nice. The mayor should shut this place down. It’s bad for business Mr./Mrs Mayor. Luckily, our family pact won’t allow to speak of this place ever again, but pretty sure future tourists won’t, which will hurt the Lagos reputation and experience.
BTW, don’t forget to give a tip, because our server remind us as I paid. He actually suggested 25%. I gave him 10%. The remaining 15% can be found in this article.

Read moreI wouldn’t recommend this place. The atmosphere was fun, in the hustle and bustle and very lively. My partner thought it was too much, but I liked it. The food didn’t taste horrible but it tasted like something I’d put together quickly on a Wednesday evening when I’m feeling tired to cook, it was very bland. Staff was probably overworked because the restaurant was crazy busy, so they were quite rude and moody, and at the end they aggressively mentioned that table service was not included. When we left, as we were walking away from the table, only 2 feet away from the waiter I heard him complain to himself loudly (or passively aggressively to us?) that we didn’t push the chairs back in. Overall bad experience that left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be returning and won’t recommend...
Read moreBetter than the first impression. When we arrived, the waiter that placed us didn’t look too friendly. But the waiter that worked at our table was very nice. The grilled sea bass is well prepared. Not dry with a good charred skin. It’s a nice to have both the boiled vegetables and salad. The garlic spaghetti was really good. My daughter really enjoyed it. And she definitely recommends it for those who are not fan of fish or meat. My wife had the chicken breasts but wanted something spicy. So the waiter brought a spicy oil. And it was quite hot so she also enjoyed her meal. We also ordered olives. And they were excellent. The garlic in the oil makes it a little addictive. If there’s a table free, try it, you’ll have...
