A Wonderful Dining Experience at Allora Italian Restaurant
My friend and I had the pleasure of dining at Allora Italian Restaurant, and we were thoroughly impressed by every aspect of our visit. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the tone for a delightful evening.
We were served by Filipe, who was incredibly polite and professional. He took the time to explain the menu in detail, offering great suggestions, and ensuring we were well-informed about each dish. His attentive service truly enhanced our experience.
For our meal, we opted for the ragu and the entrecôte—both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was top-notch. Filipe also recommended two fantastic cocktails, which complemented our dishes beautifully. To finish off the meal, we indulged in a heavenly tiramisu that was the perfect ending to a wonderful dinner.
Overall, the combination of excellent food, top-tier service, and a charming atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience. Highly...
Read moreIn our quest to find a nice Italian eatery, we decided to try Allora. It’s not immediately obvious, as the restaurant is part of the Epic Sana hotel. Additionally, only a set menu was offered for Saturday lunch. However, a pleasant surprise awaited us inside. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has a warm ambiance. We were fortunate to enjoy lunch on the covered terrace. Despite the set menu, there were three appetizers to share. For the main course, you could choose from four pasta dishes and one meat dish - piccata. We opted for Pappardelle al Ragu and Risotto ai Funghi. For dessert, there was a plate of Cannoli, Tiramisu, and Panna Cotta to share. All the dishes were very good and had an authentic Italian soul. The preparation and presentation were impeccable. The price of €30 per person was very reasonable for the quality. Many restaurants in Cascais/Estoril could learn from this example that it’s possible to offer great quality at a modest price. Absolutely...
Read moreRecent and integrated in the SANA Hotel Marquês, the food was served with care and to high standard. The venue is decorated in a trendy and appealing design. There are many different servers but interrupting frequently, discoordinated and in waves: champagne? starters? drinks from the bar? but then, instead of an intimate welcoming human explanation of the food concept and suggestions they tell you to 'scan the QR code' like at McDonalds, and guests have to sift through the internet to eat. If like me youre 50, bring glasses, their site is for millennials with 10/10 vision. Also dont sit near the vases on the terrace: they have an automatic watering timer and the vases drain generously onto the floor and under the tables and you have to lift your feet during the meal while a nice server tries to silently mop away, was fun though. It's my 3rd time here and I'd come again, but at 170 euros for 4 guests with no wine, I'd say that amount should buy you a bit more...
