Casa do Lago - Lounge Bar — Restaurant in Lisbon

After a perfectly beautiful trip to Lisboa, I must take time to share special recognition for Gabriela and Casa do Lago - Lounge Bar adjacent to Estufa Fria Botanical Garden, Lisboa. What was an unfortunate occurrence interrupted our walk through the gardens. Then by pure chance we hobbled to a charming place, a small cafe, our oasis. It offers its own quiet beauty and small meals, cafe and gelato. Gabriela made us feel like we were returning family members. The gardens are truly beautiful and worthy of every visitor's respect and appreciation. To discover Casa do Lago - Lounge Bar was our cherry atop a heavenly cake. a memorable experience. While our own visit was an unintended surprise, I would encourage anyone who seeks the beauty and tranquility of a botanical garden, to find reward at Estufa Fria, Parque Eduardo VII and then cherish some time to reflect on those natural wonders while you reward yourselves at Casa do Lago - Loung Bar. Stopped in for a coffee and Pastel de nata, payment upfront for the first time in Lisbon, coffee was good pastries we're not, they were soft and stale possibly from the wet humid day as we were the only customers, took them back and was offered replacements in 10 mins and no option of refund! Drank the coffee and left....worst experience in Lisbon on last...

A really wonderful, intimate escape in the park. We really enjoyed sitting back and relaxing amongst a serene, quiet landscape. Staff were terrific and kind. Food was good. Overall a great, relaxing experience! Highly recommend if you plan on strolling...
