The fado was beautiful and really made our last night in Lisbon special. Despite a small communication/language problem, the propietier went above and beyond for us to address the issue.

Would highly recommend this place for the real authentic Portuguese experience. The atmosphere felt like everyone knew everyone and it was a regular way for the neighborhood to spend a Friday night. The food is simple and soulful - we had the mixed grill and the grilled seabass. Everything was seasoned well.

If you want to hold on to the feeling that Lisboa is a friendly town for one and all, do yourself a favor and avoid Devagar Devagarinha! We had confirmed reservations for a group of 4. But when we walked in the waiter rudely told us that our reservation had been cancelled due to too much demand. Despite being showed the confirmation emails, they refused to seat us and we were left to make alternate dining plans outside in the rain. Fue simplemente increíble. Le doy 5 estrellas porque no puedo dar más.

Sólo una advertencia: si buscas una cena elegante en un espacio amplio y lujoso, vete a buscar una trampa para turistas. Esta es una auténtica experiencia de fado en un restaurante dirigido y propiedad de fadistas.

La comida era estupenda (recomiendo la Morcela com Abacaxi para empezar y el Choco como plato principal).

El entorno era perfecto: ten en cuenta que se trata de un pequeño restaurante local. Era estrecho, pero eso es exactamente lo que lo hace único y auténtico.

El servicio fue sorprendente. Algunos restaurantes tienen más camareros para el mismo número de personas y no consiguen ofrecer un servicio tan bueno.

Por último, prepárate para sentirte como en familia. Nelson es muy humilde y se nota que ama lo que hace. La mejor experiencia en Lisboa por mucho.

It was simply A-MA-ZING. I'm giving 5 stars because I can't give more. Only one caveat: if you're looking for a fancy dinner at a wide space, go seek a tourist trap. This is an authentic fado experience at a restaurant owned and managed by fadistas.

The setting was perfect: keep in mind this is a small local restaurant. It was tight, but that's exactly what makes it unique and authentic.

The service was surprising. Some restaurants have more waiters for the same amount of people, and don't manage to provide such good service.
