Bar Rooftop Flores — Restaurant in Porto

Wow, just wow! One of our favorite memories in Porto and we just happened to stumble upon it while walking through the alleys.

Great spot for dinner and drinks - very reasonably priced. Small menu but it was more food than expected. I had the caprese sandwich and it came with a salad and chips. It was very good. I also had the soup and chocolate cake (also good). My husband had the roast beef sandwich which he enjoyed, and also came with salad and chips. We had 2 glasses of port as well! I want to say it was under 40 euros for all of that. It was the most relaxing, enjoyable evening! If we visit Porto again, we will definitely come here again.

We stumbled upon this hole in the wall "rooftop" bar and decided to get a drink here. That single pitcher of ruby port sangria turned into a 3 hour stay and a second pitcher of white port sangria (50 cl per pitcher, 9.50 euro each)

It is very nice sitting under the branches of orange trees and the view of Porto. It is an oasis from all the old dry buildings.

We were happiest with our ruby/red Port Wine sangria. But the white port sangria was also good. It was just that the red was most similar to a red wine sangria.

The drinks came pretty quickly. There isn't really anyone checking on you, but if you go up to the bar, they will happily help you out. It is a pretty casual place.

We visited this beautiful bar before heading to dinner one evening. We were very lucky to catch the last of the sunset and sat between two heaters it was a lovely cosy place to sit and view the city. It would be easy to miss this little bar as the entrance is just a small gate on a very non descript road! I had a small jug of Sangria Blanca and my partner enjoyed the Super Bock. Our amazing waitress was a lady called Rachel and she is originally from the UK. We chatted to her for a while and she gave us some excellent recommendations for some other places to visit as well.
