FRIK Point — Restaurant in Porto

Waited 45 minutes for a pizza only to be told they’d run out of mushrooms. An hour later we still received the wrong order.

Almost 2 hours waiting but the barman made no apology and refused a refund. It wasn’t busy but they got several orders mixed up — we could hear other people complaining too.

Terrible service.

I was charged twice last week for my pizza. When ordering, the very friendly girl behind the counter told me to try my card again as the first transaction hadn’t gone through ~ she did give me a reason but at the time i didn’t take in what she was saying.

Im sure it wasn’t a deliberate attempt by her to charge me twice, and i should have been more questioning as to why she needed me to tap mh card again.

As i said, the server was friendly and i’m sure it wasn’t a a genuine mistake.

The pizza was disappointing, extremely thing to the point of being quite messy to eat. Tasted ok but for 12 euros i wasn’t...

Stopped by on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! Had a lovely “terrace” bit at the back which was a lovely sun trap, really nicely decorated bar with some funky music which added to the chilled atmosphere. Staff were brill too.

Drinks were nice and probs about standard price for a trendy bar (€9 for a very sweet sex on the beach, €6 for a lovely white “wine of the week”).

I do agree with some of the comments on the food however. The pizza was very thin, and quite pricey too (€3.90 a slice). But to be fair we did find it rather tasty?!
