Ghazal Melrose Arch — Restaurant in Gauteng

I've been frequenting Ghazal for many years now, but yesterday's experience was absolutely disgusting. I ordered the lamb gosht badami, and the dish had no flavor whatsoever. They definitely just boiled the meat and dumped it in the sauce. The chana masala was equally bad, with large chunks of ginger and way too much lemon, which overpowered the dish. It wasn’t flavorsome at all. Furthermore, the chili chicken had way too much sauce, making it unappetizing. I would strongly advise the chef to stop serving such careless, poorly prepared food, thinking that because it's a takeaway order, they can pass off substandard dishes. We pay a lot of money and rightfully expect excellent food. The quality has dropped dramatically, and this is far from what I’ve come to expect...

On a week of South African reconciliation, I would like to share an incident happened with our group in THIS VERY RESTAURANT WHICH DOES A RACISM IN OPEN, the MANAGER of this RESTAURANT kept us waited for 1.5 hours for our order to be served when we were seeing other customers(white) being served before us which came after us. On top of that, the food served was the pathetic I have ever had in my life, when we reported, the MANAGER used ridiculous words in answering us and also said FU!!

Amazing experience! We visited for my parents' anniversary and were thoroughly grateful for delicious food, quick service and a peaceful setting.
