Ocean Basket Melrose Arch. The service and the food are equally disgusting. The management and staff even worse. At 1st we waited so long to be served then when waitresses came she advised that our preferred drinks are out of stock. (This happens, so no stress we ordered something else to drink, the moctails had no taste) We received the most tasteless food ever. The rice was soggy and you could see it was just thrown in the pan. The calamari was drenched in oil and when we spoke with the waitress about it she said she’ll let the kitchen know and never came back, until she came to serve the people next to us. At this point I asked for the bill. She came back with the bill and to my surprise we were charged for the wrong dish, I questioned this with her and she insisted this is exactly what we ordered and I repeatedly told her and showed her on the menu what prawn and calamari dish we ordered. It was so embarrassing that I ended up paying the bill and she said I should speak to the manager and just left us there. About 10 minutes later I walked to the pay point and to my surprise there she was with the machine and I asked if I could now make a payment because I’d like to leave. I spoke with the manager and he said “I’m sorry this was your experience” I told him that we literally felt sick from trying to consume the food hence we stopped eating. I showed him my bill and advised that we were charged for the wrong meals and my bill highly inflated. He just said sorry hopefully you’ll have a better experience next time you visit. We are currently suffering the worst running tummies and vomit like crazy. Non of us slept last night and we have to get to a doctor because we are so sick. When we entered the floor was dirty, our table had dust but because l love seafood l stayed.

They brought their small bread tjooo it was old and they warm but the taste was horrible.

Ordered 2 seabream meal both with half rice half chips but the rice was raw and chips were brownish, dry as if they were warmed on the cooking oil. The fish was very bad tasted old and rotten.

I couldn’t eat it immediately asked for Jake fish because l thought it was going to be better but it was the worst one not the one we see on their menu and tasted horrible.

The staff didn’t even have NAMETAGS. They can’t even check up on you.

I ordered side of Greek salad but was given the big one that costed x3 the price of the side that l ordered and l cannot lie it was fresh and nice.

From a business woman to another business place l feel sorry for you because your staff is destroying your business, service is zero percent, food l think they don’t have ingredients for OB. I drove 150km to Melrose Arch taking out my business associates to eat disgusting food am really disappointed shame on you OB Melrose Arch

I wonder why your employees are doing that on something that is putting bread in their table. I can give you a call of a person l was with to just ask about the experience that they got on your business place. Imagine spending close to R900 for disgusting food🚮🚮🚮
