Nando's Corlett Drive Thru — Restaurant in Gauteng

The food is great and fresh. The drive thru is quicker than the walk ins. I waited an hour for a quarter chicken and a side. It was very busy and I suppose the date (pay day - for most) affected the service. It started hailing and the area was flooded. The cars that were in the drive through were requested to reverse as the water flow was getting heavy. They opened an alternative door as the door that is closer to the parking space had water flowing through. I wanted to make use of this door that is closer to the parking rather walk on water than be rained on. I saw a white guy asking the security to let him go out of this door. The security opened for him. I was right behind this guy and the security told me to use the alternative door. I told the security that my car is just here in front and I am already late for work because my order took an hour. He refused to open for me and I asked why did you open for the white guy and you refuse to open for me. I asked for his name as I was unhappy with what he did. He said he is Brian (He could be lying anyway). I completely understand protocol and stuff but you cannot allow one person to break the rule and not the others. Black on black war...

Not likely to be ordering from this location again. We placed an order for delivery online, and waited over an hour to receive any tracking information. We then placed an online ticket and called when no helpful communication was forthcoming from Nando's Corlett Drive Thru.

Once we got through to Nando's, we were informed that there had been a problem with the online ordering system, and that the order was now going to be prepared. This had to be a lie, as the food we received shortly thereafter was cold and the driver told us a half-baked story about someone having a transport issue, implying that the order had been out for delivery for some time.

I phoned the Nandos call center to place a complaint about this experience; however the line was terrible and the operator took my number, assuring me he would call us back. So far no call has been forthcoming, and I am not expecting to receive one.

This has a very disappointing visit from this Nandos. I went through the drive thru. Simple order. 2 cheese burgers, 1 boujee bowl add haloumi. 1 chicken strips. Firstly I waited over 20 mins at the collection window. They seemed very confused about my order and had no idea what was going on, the man at the collection window then comes to ask me what my order was, I tell him my order in a friendly way. He then goes back and takes another 10 mins. He then comes back in a very rude and disrespectful manner and hands me the bag. I ask if they added the haloumi. He then gets very rude and aggravated and asks for my slip which I hand to him. He checks the slip and rudely says yes. Hands me back the slip and walks away. Sure enough, there was NO Halloumi which I was charged for. This was the worst drive thru experience I have had and I have been supporting this Nandos branch for years. DONT SUPPORT THIS BRANCH.
