Perfect place if you're looking for the real Barcelona experience. Just there yesterday. For the third time in the week. Heartwarming. Delicious patatas bravas and squid, fine tempered wine. I understand the bad reviews as there can be some waiting, and sometimes mistakes, and everything is not always available but people from Barcelona sit there, which is a sign. It's not gonna be a standardized globalized place (and about a bad review down here just who the hell orders a Spritz in Barcelona, take wine and tapas, man !). After being so bored of touristic places, just having a place to crash where you feel so welcomed and among people is just cool. They only had 3 dishes and wanted us to pay in advance which wouldn't have been a problem, but the machine for the receipt wasn't working and they told us they were about to end their shift at 3:45 pm. So that left us with the uncertainty if we can trust the staff especially since there were no other customers. In the end, they brought us our food and we paid as we received it. Personally I didn't like the taste but that is up to a persons liking. Neither did the two people I was with or I finish our food. I couldn't believe the price, €7.50 for patatas bravas and €8 for pimientos al padrón. It seems like a normal, local bar but it's a tourist trap. I've lived here for years and have been there many times and have never been charged this much for eating there, obviously taking advantage of the lack of tourists...
