El Fornet - Consell de Cent 355 — Restaurant in Barcelona

Me gusta la localización del lugar, el diseño que aportan los cuadros elegidos para el local, algunos de sus postres y la ensalada! No obstante, el lugar suele ser ruidoso, el servicio no siempre es rápido por la cantidad de clientes y nos hemos topado con situaciones particulares (adjunto vídeo de un cappuccino cobrado que no tiene ni una pizca de espuma). Recomiendo sus cruasanes rellenos (verdaderamente!) de chocolate 🍫✨ y cubiertos de azúcar. También recomiendo la quiché y la ensalada de salmón!

I like the location of the place, the design created by the selected paintings, some of the desserts, and the salad! However, the place is often noisy, the service is not always fast due to the number of customers, and we have encountered specific situations (attached is a video of a cappuccino we were charged for that didn’t have even a hint of foam). It’s better to order a basic coffee, like an Americano. I highly recommend their croissants filled (truly!) with chocolate 🍫✨ and topped with sugar. I also recommend the quiche and the salmon salad!

Мне нравится расположение заведения, дизайн, который создают выбранные картины, некоторые десерты и салат! Однако, место часто бывает шумным, обслуживание не всегда быстрое из-за большого количества клиентов, и мы сталкивались с некоторыми особенностями (прилагаю видео капучино, за который взяли деньги, но в нем не было даже намека на пенку). Лучше заказать простой кофе, например, американо. Я очень рекомендую их круассаны, действительно наполненные шоколадом 🍫✨ и посыпанные сахаром. Также рекомендую киш и салат с лососем!

Однак місце часто буває шумним, обслуговування не завжди швидке через велику кількість клієнтів, і ми стикалися з деякими особливими ситуаціями (додаю відео капучино, за яке взяли гроші, але в ньому немає навіть натяку на пінку). No prices on products so that they can then overcharge you as they please. The pastries looked good on the outside, but as soon as I started to eat them it was clearly they were not fresh (probably from the previous day), they were dry. To spend 13 euros on pastries and coffee (2 people) in a café, the food should be minimum fresh! I could have bought the same pastries at Mercadona (supermarket ) for 1 euro! Currently waiting on a friend to have breakfast and I'm being rudely interrupted during my work by the waitress who speaks no English. She is so arrogant she is not even willing to translate via my laptop what she is abruptly trying to tell me as she asks me to leave if I do not order something..

Again I have explained politely and calmly that I am waiting for a friend to have breakfast here while I occupy a small table in this not so busy cafe bothering nobody..

This is the heart of Barcelona.. Should have bilingual staff at least considering there are many nationalities living within Barcelona..
