It's hard to find a place where you were served with such a big smile! Despite the noticeable stress that the young woman at the cafeteria called "El fornet" was under. While passing through with my wife, we sat on the terrace of "El Fornet" today Saturday 11/30/2024 in the morning... The young waitress, who looked quite busy, gave us hope that she would serve us soon, but it was really noticeable that she could not cope with so many people placing their orders, she tried hard to serve everyone at the same time, I couldn't stop watching and seeing only one person with so much work and tables in her charge, without any kind of help. I entered the cafeteria and inside there was not a single waitress I could go to. It is disappointing and outrageous that only one person had to do so much and no one else came to help that young woman who despite everything showed a pleasant, positive smile with her apologetic gestures. I did not ask her name but it is clear that they do not value her effort as a person or as a human being. I think I will not revisit this place again, having witnessed such injustice, not because of the young woman who was in a hurry to please everyone and at the same time not being able to do more, no, IT IS DISAPPOINTMENT! that a single person is in charge of so much work. Ps. To the young woman at 11:00 am Thank you for that smile and faultless service! We hope that in the future there will be more people serving or that you find something where you are valued more for your effort and...

Waited 20 minutes to pay after asking a couple of times. Ended up going into the shop to pay inside since I really needed to head out. Waited another 10 minutes since the cashier needed the waitress to confirm what I said I had ordered. To top that all off their credit card payment wouldn't allow me to pay in Euro only USD (which they charge a 2% fee for - never had this problem anywhere else). Terrible experience, for a place that looks so good I can only imagine that they stay in business by trapping tourists. Spend your...
Read moreWe stopped in to get coffee for takeaway and ordered from a barista at the back bar area. While I am the first to admit that our Spanish is not the greatest, we always try our best with the language and always aim to be respectful to all staff and individuals, wherever we are traveling. The barista was very rude to us, and although we cannot speak the language fluently, it was very obvious she was talking unkindly about us to another customer in front of our faces. Left feeling very hurt and...
