I can’t say enough great things about this place. BCN’s oldest (and probably only legit) tiki bar. 53 years and counting. The staff pleasant and friendly. Enthusiastic about tiki and rum. The drinks were strong and the mugs they served them in were made in Spain exclusively for them. I didn’t see a food menu, so you’ll want to eat before you go. If you don’t, they serve popcorn and corn nuts with your drinks. It’s well out of the tourist area of downtown, but easily accessible via bus or cab. If you’re a fan of tiki, I can’t recommend it enough.

Great tiki bar in Barcelona. When ordering a Mai-Tai, the bartender was good enough to ask which rums I wanted and it was excellent. My second drink was a Jet Pilot which was also good but had a little pimento/nutmeg/cinnamon taste to it. Intriguing. I was also able to taste some of their proprietary mixes and a Plantation rum made exclusively for them. Nice decor. We got there just before 2300 and left around 0015. When we arrived, we could walk right in. When we left, the line was out the door.

Awesome place! The menu showed the ingredients, how dry or sweet the drink is, and usually a bit of reference to its history. Drinks menu is divided by alcohol base (Gin, vodka, whisky, virgin, or classic rum) -- the tiki bowls and presentation is awesome. Since the drinks are strong and made authentically with some overproof alcohol, the staff gives you peanuts/popcorn with your drinks to help pace ;-) Shoutout to the staff for being so attentive, kind, and welcoming. Definitely coming back!

This place is a classic. Part of the initial wave of tiki that swept the world - following the golden age of tiki in North America. But unlike many of its contemporaries, the place has been kept up and modernized as needed over the years. The result is a gem of a bar that is an echo of the American optimism of the 50s and 60s, with a unique Spanish twist - kept clean and modern by an obviously invested ownership. Now serving the new generation of cocktail savvy young folk, it is both a history lesson and beacon of the future of tiki. Outside of America one of the best examples of tiki modern in the world. And a damn fine night out...

Very good spot for drinks. The drinks are served in novelty cups and come in a wide variety of drinks with rum, vodka, whiskey, and tequila. They have range in price from €5 to about €10, but all drinks are moderately sized and good for the money. The service is very friendly and the place is very clean. When drinks are served they come with comically large straws and some snacks! The music was great and not too loud, so you can have a conversation or sing along. Overall the perfect spot to grab a drink...
