Let us be honest—part of me went to Keanu Izakaya Bar just because of the name. I mean, how could I not? If there was even the slightest chance of getting closer to Keanu Reeves, I was going to take it. 😎 But jokes aside, we decided to test the waters first with their Menu del Día, and let me tell you—it did not disappoint.

The lunch menu was the perfect excuse to try a bit of everything without over-committing (because let’s be real, we are already eyeing this place for a celebration dinner). From the miso soup to the fresh sushi rolls and side dishes like kimchi and pickled cucumbers, everything felt thoughtful and high-quality—no shortcuts, just great flavours.

The vibe of the restaurant? It matches the food. Sleek, modern, but still warm and inviting—kind of like if Keanu himself designed it. And the staff? Super attentive—almost like they were trained by John Wick. 🥢

I stopped by Keanu Izakaya on a Friday evening and snagged a seat at the bar — and wow, what a vibe! From the moment I sat down, the energy was just right. Great music playing, amazing ambiance, and seriously good service.

Shoutout to Kristina — the manager who made the whole experience feel personal and warm. She was super kind, attentive, and clearly knows how to run a smooth show.

Now let’s talk drinks and food 🍸🍣: The cocktail I had was perfectly balanced, and their highballs? Absolute magic — dangerously easy to sip. I paired them with some gyozas and an excellent lineup of nigiri: toro, scallop, wagyu, and salmon — each one melt-in-your-mouth good. Honestly, the quality was top-tier across the board.

Whether you’re in for a chill solo dinner or a night out with friends, Keanu hits the sweet spot between laid-back and elevated. I’d absolutely go back — and probably bring some people with me next time.

Absolutely amazing sushi restaurant. I personally make sushi and have tried sushi all over the world. This place is a gem from food to service. We met one of the owners, a woman from Japan. She has a thing for Keanu and has created a restaurant and menu surrounding him.

The food was very good, we enjoyed every bite. We had the premium nigiri tray each and ordered more as we wanted more. The Wagyu nigiri was insane.

The service was no less amazing. At one point my wife was trying to figure out what song was playing and the bartender noticed and passed us a piece of paper with the name of the song on it for her to find it.
