I am not going to be the first giving this place a 4 star, but this is just because how passionate and careful the owner is about his place. Daniel, you have a lot of competitors around and your place still shine for its excelence. The pizza is for real...unreal. Crusty and soft at the same time, tomato sauce...actually tastes like tomate (unrealistic nowdays) and the ingredients feel fresch and good quality. When you food is amazing, then your service is also amazing. Service by the owner is just the best you can get, maybe a little bit pushy, bit just reflecting the energy the owner invest in his business. Atmosphere, well decorated but too too small. Here is the why for my 3 or 4 star: Daniel, your place is just too small with 3 table that are not tables (barrels). There is no place for comfortably resting your legs. They are all off couse "high" chairs (stools). Taking this into consideration, you CANT reserve a table and you should not refuse a space for a client (like you almost did to me). It makes no sense to reserve a table when you just have 3. You will soon find yourself with an administrative problem, your business will need to grow soon because your capacity to provide service will decay as the demand increases. You will soon need to be able to produce more pizza, faster and efficiently, and certainly your clients will need to seat somewhere. I hope my comments are helpful. The best for you. You have the most important things to succeed, hardworking, good food and...
Read morei've lived in madrid for four years as an international student and Bricco Gourmet Madrid remains my favorite place to dine.
Bricco Gourmet Madrid is located in the city center of madrid, providing easy access. however, it's positioned on a small tucked-away street that hides you from the mayhem that sol can be at times. It's location and position is the exact definition of "the best-of-both-worlds".
david and anna are the owners, together they make up a dynamic duo. they are incredibly passionate about their craft, impressively knowledgeable about it too, and true experts when it comes to making pizza.
david and anna are also great friends of mine and many others. their customer service inside the job, and compassion outside of the job makes them easy people to befriend.
like very few restaurants, they've built a community with their craft and kindness. they host festive activities during holidays, many birthday parties (including mine) and special celebrations that pertain to the restaurant that the community is invited to.
it's a joy to be apart of and i highly recommend you to be apart of it as well by making your first visit today.
p.s — i highly recommend taking a date to Bricco Gourmet Madrid for dinner — it's...
Read moreThe pizza here is honestly mind blowing 🤯. All the ingredients were incredible fresh and delicious: the tomato base had a lovely sweetness, the base was soft and fluffy, the mozzarella was full of flavour and we got lucky enough to get extra buffalo mozzarella on top all the way from Naples which I can safely say is the best I’ve ever had! The shop is tucked away in a quiet road off a Main Street and has a wonderful atmosphere. Service was speedy and efficient but maybe the best part of all was the owner David who was extraordinarily friendly, explaining all the sources of the ingredients. I can honestly say this was one of the nicest pizzas I’ve had thank you so much!
(p.s. Hi David! - you asked us to pop in the next day and tell you what we thought of the pizza but we had to leave early so here’s a...
