Wow we came here by accident as I was planning to go to another rooftop which happened to be closed!! But this ended up way better than my original plan! It was my birthday and I had to last minute find another place to go with my son. At first I had no idea how to get up there…until I asked a man and he told me to enter a shop! It was so fun and exciting! Such a beautiful store too, but I didn’t have much time to look around. We kept going up the stairs and it kept amazing us! We finally got up and I was so happy! It was super hot that day, but not as hot up there on the terrace, compared to being down in the sun. We got welcomed straight away, and the waitresses were so kind and sweet. We ordered our drinks and they were so fun! I decided to order a carrot cake since it was my birthday, but I did not expect it to look anything like how it was!!! I was shocked and so surprised how beautiful it was, even more so, it came with sparkles…which the waitress lit up, and I mentioned to her it was my birthday too, and she was so sweet to greet me and sing also. It made my day so nice and I had such a good time with my son! Definitely...
Read moreProbably the worst roof top you can go to in Madrid ! AVOID BY ALL MEANS ! I have now try to come to this rooftop twice in 2 weeks, every time i was welcomed by rude staff! The first time they have refused us entry because we came with a baby in a stroller while the terrace was 75% empty in the middle of the day and there was clearly space to seat us with a stroller next to us on the back of the terrace.
The second time i came without the baby and was told 3 times on the way to the roof top that we need to spend at least a cocktail per person and food or at least a desert to get a seat. I get it but not the best way to welcome people in… once finally seated i was told rudely smoking is not allowed on the rooftop…
Just help yourself go to any other rooftop in the city rather then this place taking more attention to ensuring they will charge you a lot for your time spent there rather then focusing on nice welcoming service !
Don’t get tempted by the nice flowery photos, it does not even look that nice in reality ! this place is far from a place to visit...
Read moreWe left this place with mixed feelings. We made a reservation in advance, but still had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come and show us to our table. Then another 15-20 minutes to come and take our order. We were sitting there for about 45-50 minutes and there was still nothing on our table, no drinks, no food. So the service is extremely slow, they have no menus in English, only Spanish and the staff doesn’t speak English very well.
The cocktails are quite good and served in a unique way and the food is also tasty. But the service is subpar for the prices you are paying.
Also, they serve two buns and some butter before the food (as an appetizer?) which costs 4 EUR/person. They don’t ask you if you want it, they just serve it.
All in all a fairly disappointing experience, especially if you don’t speak Spanish. You can try this place once, but I...
