TLDR: tasty food, ok experience but not good enough for the price, good enough to go to experience the hype but thats it
We went last night for dinner service. The food was delicious except for the meat dish on the hot menu. It was too charred for us and tasted burnt on the outside. The piece of meet they served us was also quite fatty so it was not pleasant to eat. The secreto bite was also a fatty piece of meat. The rest of the dishes we ate were quite delicious. The viera and cabbage were highlights. Mochi was tasty but wish it wasn’t so cold. I found the Urta to be quite dry although I don’t know if the fish is meant to be that way. The cocktails were also delicious. What was most lacking for us was the ambiance. Half the plates they served us with were cracked. It was so dark we had to use our flashlights to be able to see what we we’re eating. There is no sound absorption in the place so I had to raise my voice and try very hard to listen to who I was eating with. The service was acceptable for the price you pay but nothing out of the ordinary. We were pressured at the end to leave our table even though we arrived on time to our reservation and were suggested to order 10 plates. Do not pressure your guests. Sometimes there were gaps of time between plates, do not pressure your guests if it is not their fault their table took a long time. In my opinion the place is not worth the hype of 85 euros per person. Plenty of other restaurants in Madrid are a better experience for the price and you don’t leave with a headache or pressured to...

It was about time Jerry!
A smooth, elegant but also casual, dimmed light & exquisite food, cocktails & wine menu restaurant came into play to change Madrid´s Gastronomy narrative.
This place has it all and when I say all, I mean ALL. The food is based on traditional Peruvian gastronomy (Gastronomy´s Renaissance in my opinion) with a Brooklyn Tasty Whiplash that it would play with your mouth, the cocktails menu was designed by a world-class Mixologist (She knows), the venue has a minimalist magic all over the place, and last but not least important, the team. This group has managed to obtain a very sophisticated group of people to come and work together and what you come across of such a mixture... is absolutely an experience to repeat over and over again.
If you find yourself living in Madrid, please note... THIS IS A MUST.
If you are traveling and have a night to spare, please note... THIS IS A MUST.
In any case... THIS IS A MUST.
All the praise goes to this fantastic place and its team (You guys are the best).
Before I end this humble review I must say, the wine selection is superb. Don´t hesitate to ask Ms. Camille for any recommendations ;).
I would most certainly repeat...
Read moreFood was superb, everything we tried was great. We tried 3 of the skewers, scallop ceviche was so good we had two, mussels were good and the quinoa salad surprised us with how tasty it was. Portions are on the smaller side. Service was good, but we felt that they were trying to make us leave the whole time and because of that the experience was ruined and we won't be returning. The reminder that we only have the table for 1h45 when we were seated would have been enough, however we were continuously reminded of it throughout the dinner. Once we finished a bottle of wine (and had half of our time still left), the glasses were removed without even asking if we wanted more. They asked if we wanted a dessert, and upon hearing no they cleaned up the table and brought us the bill. We still had half an hour of our reservation, and wanted to have another drink, but kept being rushed. I understand that they want to have several rounds of diners, but we felt unwelcome and despite the great food I wouldn't recommend it unless you get a later reservation, but that is unfair that some customers would be treated better and some would be asked to leave at every opportunity just because of the time of a...
