I don't know what others on Google reviews had, but my experience was the awful. More in line with Yelp reviews.
Food - very pricey and bland / undercooked. I had the chicken tikka masala, garlic nan, rice, and chai tea. The masala was bland missing spices and I request very spicy which it was not even remotely close. Maybe locals don't like spicy food but I do. The garlic nan, if you can even call it that, was a joke. There was no flavor of garlic. And you can tell that it was made before and then just reheated. It was soft the first few parts I ripped off and as it cooled off it started to feel stale and as if it was made a while ago. Rice was okay but missing that Indian flavor and spices. The chai tea was also a joke. Probably the worst chai tea I've ever had.
The staff - although nice at first, they got rude over the course of my time there. Asking simple questions about the food and portions annoyed them. I asked them about the special of the day and they didn't know what it was and had to go back and ask, 2 different times. Then, I ordered a drink that I saw on the menu, the waiter came back and said they didn't have any then got annoyed when I said I had to take some time to think like I was supposed to be ready and know that they wouldn't have my first option. I later complained about the garlic nan and the waiter said it was fresh and delicious even though my taste buds said something different. I didn't even finish the food. I just got the check and paid.
Oh yeah, everything I mentioned above (masala, 1 garlic nan, rice, and chia tea) came out to €26....
Read moreI phoned in advance to ask if they had vegan options and they replied yes. When I arrived for the menu del dia I was told there were no vegan starters but they would give me a bigger curry to compensate. I wasn't given any naan because they said that wasn't vegan either (and they had no chapati) and the bigger portion of curry didn't look much bigger than my friend's. So I ended up paying the same as my friend without getting the starter, naan and they had no vegan dessert either. If you say you have vegan options you should have one for every section of the menu del dia. The waiter was friendly and informative but the vegetable curry I had was bland and lacked any flavour and spice. I won't be going back! There are better Indian...
Read morePrawn puri was lovely Nans were sweet but I was told that people in Spain prefer nan this way. I had a karahi which was decent for spain. We also had a bhuna which was also decent. The place itself was rather boring,no atmosphere. But certainly busy, which means they must be doing something right. Was a little hard to find as Google maps takes you on a trip to nowhere. The quickest metro is gran via.As soon as you come out you cross the busy road Into and head I to the street facing you.As you go further along this road, you will see a pizza cafe on the left, pass this and take the next right, then first left, head along to the end and again right and it is at the bottom...
