S'Àngel — Restaurant in Palma

I got the chicken with coconut milk and red curry. the waiters said it’s supposed to be very spicy, but this plate had no literal flavour, no spices, no taste, nothing. it was the worst experience of my life and i’m very disappointed. when i told the the manager of the restaurant that i don’t like the food she said “im sorry other people ordered it too and there was no problem” instead of trying to find a solution. she said “maybe it’s just me” ??? is this how you treat your customers? i’m sorry but her attitude was not okay. they also brought tuna pan to the table even though we didn’t ask for it so we thought it’s a “treat” from them. when we wanted the bill we saw that they charged us for that too!!! this is actually insane. there’s much better restaurants in Palma. if you want to save some money, i advise you not to come to...

Compartir mi experiencia de este restaurante posiblemente no sea la mejor opción, pero tengo que decir que creo que es una de las mejores decisiones que he tomado en cuanto a restaurantes se refiere. Pero antes de ir a un lugar como este, recomiendo a los futuros clientes que tienen que tener claros varios conceptos, un mal día lo podemos tener todos, que poner una mala reseña a veces se puede interpretar como un ataque personal contra el restaurante o su personal. un cliente tiene que saber elegir qué tipo de comida quiere, el trato quiere recibir y sobre todo cuanto está dispuesto a pagar. debe saber hacer una valoración en base a la calidad de los platos y su ha estado en manos de profesionales.

Dicho esto, de mi experiencia puedo decir que tuve el placer de degustar una excelente comida y que estuve en las manos de grandes profesionales de sala. Son capaces de recomendarte unas patatas bravas y un bacalao que te pueden dejar sin sentido y todo ello a un precio contenido. El cocinero, es el propietario, un verdadero Chef, que es capaz de sacarse de la manga de una burrata con frutas. Nos quedamos con las ganas de saborearla. Dicho esto, tengo que volver y volveré seguro a este restaurante para probar esa burrata y otros platos de la carta.

Valoro mucho todo esto, también, como no, valoro mucho la relación precio/calidad. Este restaurante cumple con mis exigencias y debería complacer a la mayoría de personas que sean de mi parecer. Dejarme valorar a todos aquellos que por fastidiar son capaces de calificar negativamente lugares como este. Aprovecho para decirles que si no les gusta y/o tienen ganas de fastidiar, posiblemente lo que hacen es el efecto contrario. Repito, son muy buenos profesionales y saben aceptar esas malas pasadas. Si a alguien no le gusta mi opinión, decirles que tengo el mismo derecho de quejarme sobre ellos, de la misma forma que esta "gente" son capaces de calificar negativamente un lugar como este. Saludos a los propietarios y os animo a continuar así, el éxito es vuestro.

16/07/2021. Tal como comenté anteriormente tenía que volver para probar la burrata. Ver la fotografía adjunta, la combinación del plato es excelente. Sigo recomendando este restaurante.

A very cosy Spanish influenced Bodega decor with a slight modern touch. The Menu begs to question the Korean Fusion given that the Chef is Galicia? I dont see connection nor the reason for it.

The portion sizes of the plates are definitely over the top, thus losing the quality of its Product they have on offer.

Downsizing portions and considering quality over quantity is worth a thought for the Owners of this restaurant.

Would they consider to change their Menu with a traditional Spanish style inspired cuisine, as well its flavours, it would be a must visit. IF executed properly. That’s a big IF.
