I booked a dinner here for my girlfriend’s birthday, as I had seen the place a year ago in Valencia and it looked absolutely beautiful. The setting did not disappoint — the décor is gorgeous, and the little corner where we sat (next to the bar, behind a big plant and the “well”) felt cozy at first (!). The food was also excellent — the cannelloni (wild pork cheek) was truly delicious, with amazing texture and flavor.

Unfortunately, the service did not match the standard of the food or the atmosphere. We were seated on time, but it took around 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order. We ordered drinks, starters, and mains together — yet the starters arrived without the drinks, which only came after we had already finished the first course and asked for them again, by reminding the waitress that we indeed ordered drinks. Later we ordered additional drinks with our mains, but they never arrived at all. Sitting right next to the bar, we could literally see the staff preparing the same drinks we had requested, but they never reached our table. It was also very noisy and busy there.

We were hoping to enjoy dessert as well, but by then we felt completely forgotten and ignored. Nobody came to clear our plates or take another order. At 9:50pm (over an hour into the booking), we asked for the bill. Our waitress (H.) seemed surprised when we mentioned the drinks never came, but all we got was a quick “lo siento.” Even paying took more than 10 minutes, as we had to ask again for the card terminal..

Overall, what should have been a special birthday dinner turned into a very disappointing experience. The food and ambiance are good, but the service was disorganized and unprofessional, which overshadowed the evening. For a place that presents itself as a “secret garden” escape, I expected much more care and attention to guests, and not that by the end of it I want to...

Usually, this restaurant provides really nice experience but on their other locations in Valencia. This one, unfortunately disappointed last time and reason for that was service. Begin has unusually small tables which is fine and part of design but service doesn’t care to remove used plates, bottles or glasses. They remove part of it and every single time they come to your table you need to remind and them or give something to their hand if you want to free some space on your table. This is especially annoying if you come with larger group and you count on them to free space between starters and mains… Even worse was communication from their side…since they gave us two wrong main dishes ( we thought it was mistake but they decided without asking to switch two pastas and gave us something else since there was no ingredients for what we ordered. Last thing and most annoying, after main dishes they told us we have to go in 10 minutes since our reservation is valid for 1,5 hours and table is booked for next customer. NOBODY gave us that information before dinner or in email for booking confirmation. Food was pretty tasty and there is nothing to complain in...

Hay menos variedad de principales en este menú mini. Está disponible solo de lunes a viernes de 9.30h a 12.00h. Menú de mediodía: Incluye entrante🧀🌮🌽, principal🍖🐟 y postre o café 🍰/☕por 14.90€. La bebida no está incluida. Disponible de lunes a viernes no festivos. Menú degustación 🫄: incluye entrantes a compartir (salen todos🧀🌮🌽), principal🍖🐟, postre o café 🍰/☕por 24.95€/persona. Puedes incluir barra libre con la comida pagando 10€ más por persona (34.95€)🍻. Este menú fue nuestra elección😉 Los entrantes salen todos y son: Tacos al pastor🌮, fue lo que más nos gustó🤤 carne muy jugosa con una salsa top 🔝 una pieza de maíz criollo🌽 por persona. Burrata🧀 con tomates secos🍅 Una ensalada muy fresca. Si eres fan de la burrata te gustará😉 Tiradito de atún salvaje🐟 Un brioche de pulled pork por persona🐷 De principales probamos: Tataki de atún salvaje🐟 Un plato ligero y sabroso. Risotto de Lombardía 🍛 Muy bueno. Guiso de carrillera campestre🥩 Un plato contundente. Con este es difícil que te quedes con hambre. 🍰 De postres, recomiendo terminar con algo fresquito y poco pesado. Queríamos el mango bowl🥭 pero no quedaba, el Hakuna Papaya fue muy buena elección también.

🍱 En cuanto a la comida, ni un pero. Estaba todo muy bueno👏

🤵Pero el servicio es muy malo😭 Teníamos reserva a las 14.30h, los entrantes salieron a las 15.25h. No lo entiendo siendo menú para todos igual🥲 Todo los entrantes salieron a la vez, 5 entrantes😐 Las mesas son demasiado pequeñas para 5 entrantes a la vez, no cabiamos😞 Los entrantes calientes como los tacos se enfriaron🤦 Por otra parte, venía una embarazada. El servicio no sabía contestar a los ingredientes de los platos, tampoco sabían si los productos estaban pasteurizados... El servicio es un desastre🙄

📗No fuimos los únicos que nos quejamos de los tiempos⌛ Al llegar, tienes un librito donde puedes describir tu experiencia✍️ Había una pareja que les había pasado exactamente lo mismo unos días antes. Tenían reserva, en este caso la mesa no estaba preparada, tuvieron que esperar fuera con frío, comieron tarde... 🥺

☀️ Tienen unas mesitas en la calle a modo de terraza justo enfrente del mercado de Colón🤩 Admiten mascotas🐶 en la terraza.

👦 Admiten niños. Fuimos con un niño, le pusieron una trona. El problema es que no hay un menú de niños 😂 Entonces entiendo que son bienvenidos a medias.

🚫🐶 No es un restaurante pet friendly. No admiten mascotas dentro del local pero puedes estar con ellas en la terraza.

🌴En su web indican que apoyan al comercio local y comercio de proximidad. Poniéndose en contacto con agricultores cercanos de la comunidad ❤️ Considero que es algo a valorar positivamente.

💰Precio💰30€/persona. Fue el menú degustación (24.95€) con bebidas aparte.
