The food studio is the food court of the Colombo City Center which is a familiar concept when matched up with other shopping malls in Colombo. When compared with equivalents Food Studio offers a great range of foods belonging to many cuIsines. Food Studio consists of collection of shops each offering unique types of food. During my several visits (Mainly the last visit) I was able to try out food from Jagro Simply Strawberries, Tokyo Shokudo, Punch by Wine World and Isle of Gelato.

Jagro is very familiar name in Colombo for their strawberry desserts and fresh strawberries. Their story doesn't change at CCC. You get your favorite desserts in the way you get them everywhere. From Tokyo Shokudo we tried Teriyaki Don & Chicken Katsu Don. I have no idea how the originals might taste but both were really good for us. From Punch I have got strawberry based drink which I forgot the name but it was really tasty. And gelato from the Isle was pretty good too. One of my friends got a wierd tasting ice cream which I couldn't remember the flavor and I had to finish it off ;) Finally just before leaving we got one of those chocolate ice creams in a stick and it was marvelous.

Overall the service was good on all places. The staff helped us a lot when it comes to selecting unfamiliar food items. We were very much satisfied with the overall experience. By the way you cannot forget the nice view over the...

If you Iove Thai food and you are in Colombo city area, you gotta try it here. There is a staircase, one floor up from the food court which is at level 3 in the mall.

I ordered spicy seafood salad (not spicy - you can request for that), Thai seafood omelet and one steam rice.

My fiance ordered Spicy papaya salad and Tom Yam fried rice.

The spicy Seafood salad and Spicy papaya salad was super delicious!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For the Thai seafood omelet, it was just ok, nothing special. It’s like any normal plain omelet just that it is added with some chopped prawns Into it. I couldn't finish it alone so I would say it's a dish for two-person. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Anyway, my fiance, Tom Yam fried rice didn't come at all. We waited pretty long and decides to check on the orders after waiting for at least half an hour. When the orders arrived, The spicy papaya salad came with Tom Yam soup which we didn't order and so we decided to cancel and take away only the spicy papaya salad instead. Therefore, I am unable to comment on the Tom Yam fried rice 😅
