This place was an unexpected gem. Upon entering I didn’t expect much. It’s not very spacious and gave me the impression of a generic asian food chain.
Also, ordering had to be done on a screen even though personnel were present. Felt kind of odd.
That said, they proved to be very helpful and happily chatted about their offerings. They even offered to do the order for me.
The best thing though was the food. I don’t know if this is Korean food for real, but at least it was different in a positive way.
The bowl was great and so was all the pickled vegetables offered on the side. Very tasty for the price.
I’ll absolutely visit this place or others in the chain and try more alternatives...
Read moreThis place definitely gets full stars from me, except for the last one in "Atmosphere" simply because it was very small. But that's not a negative, if anything I wish more people would come here! Out of all restaurants I've been to during travels in Stockholm, this is the best one. I am 100% coming back. Korean food offers a nice variety and is not as fatty as western food, so what they offer is much more lightweight and let's you feel comfortably satiated. I LOVED my meal, perfect size for me with a smaller stomach and the slightly spicy chicken combined well with the neutral and fresh salad/carrot/mayo. Flavor profile was just really for me. Everything looked super fresh...
Read moreI came to eat at Keemchi. Although it was busy, I ordered via the system and got my meal quite fast. The pictures and explanation made it easy to order. I liked the fact that meals with meat, fish or egg could also be ordered as vegetarian or vegan option. I really enjoyed a well cooked Chap Chae with Oumph (vegan). Really tasteful, nutritious and defintely worth its price. Keemchi has an open kitchen so you can actually see where and how your food is prepared. The staff is really friendly and helpful and speaks very good English. I would highly recommend Keemchi and would love to come...
