Absolutely agressive and negative staff!!!

Sorry if I write wrong.

My name is Matthias Ruffert. I‘m 49 years, owner of different companies and traveled until now to 86 countries.

This summer I discovered again with plane (I‘m pilot) wounderful Sweden.

We was also in Stockholm and visited your restaurant.

It was something like 5pm

The restaurant was empty. Only 20-25% was occupied.

One guy gaved us a table. I changed my place, cause I would like to sit more near my wife.

The reaction from your employee was a big dramatic catastrophe!

I took a picture from him, when I was back from other restaurant.

This absolutely arrogant and terrible guy was screaming and shouting that I have to leave now the restaurant immediately! He said: if you don’t follow my instruction you leave now!

I said: why are you so aggressive?

He said: I’m the boss and you have to follow my instructions!

I said: your Restaurant is empty. ....come down I would like to oder. We are hungry. His answer: you don’t get anything here tonight. You have to learn to follow my rules. Tomorrow you can come back.

I was absolutely shocked.

I guess this guy was completely under drugs!!!

We joined another restaurant, payed 100€ there, was happy and .... on the way back to our hotel I tooked this picture.

Then another guy comes to me. More friendly and says also: I’m the boss here. I explained the situation. Both smiled.

I was in more then 10.000 restaurants Never!!! I had such unbelievable aggressive negative service staff.

I have friends (also pilots) in Stockholm and will inform these guys to avoid your restaurant

Recommendation: fire this guy! He destroy your business!

We stopped in to get dinner. Because there was only a limited number of items to choose from, like three burgers, we ordered two drinks, one beer and one long island iced tea, and the nachos. The Nachos were tiny and hardly had anything on them. When we paid, we realized they'd charged us 310 SEK for the Long Island, which is $31 dollars. We didn't make a stink about it. But I did ask why. The guy gave some explanation that really made no sense. We think it was because we decided not to order food they charged so much for the drink. Anyway, we walked next door to Gnarly Burger and had a much better experience. Food and service were better and they had a much larger menu selection. And guess what, a long island iced tea was not 310 SEK. I wouldn't go back to The Meat and Grill Bar. Go to Gnarly Burger next...

Style over substance. Overall, this place was well decorated but I was not impressed by my burger (reminded me of one of those frozen flat patties that you get in a package of 20 at the supermarket). The "nachos" I got were round tostitos chips with a side of bland salsa.

The restaurant was pretty crowded, and despite having a reservation, we had to wait for a table (unlike the group of four good looking blonde ladies who magically found a table right by the window despite lacking a reservation). Our server was nice but we could tell he was extremely overworked.

The fries were tasty and they had a good aioli, but that's about it. There are soooo many better places in Stockholm that you should try instead...
