Just Bloom is a fantastic idea. Sadly, there aren’t many places like this in Geneva. As a new mom, I’ve been there five times, drawn by the unique concept. But despite its potential, the experience has consistently been disappointing.
The venue has now been open for nearly two years, yet some essential aspects still haven’t been rethought. The overall organization is chaotic. Upon arrival, you’re greeted by an overflowing cart full of dirty dishes and leftover food. Tables are not cleared or cleaned in a timely manner, creating an unhygienic and uncomfortable atmosphere.
The stroller parking is poorly planned, often creating congestion at the entrance and adding to the sense of disorder.
The space is frequently overcrowded, and customer flow is not well managed. Adults and children are crammed into a limited area—even though the entry fee is 15 CHF for 2 hours. At that price, you expect to enjoy your time, which unfortunately is not the case.
I visited on different days and at different times, hoping for a better experience, but it was always the same situation.
The venue is advertised as suitable for children aged 0 to 8, but when all age groups are mixed together, it quickly becomes unsafe for the youngest ones. There’s a real lack of separated, age-appropriate play zones. Safety is also a concern: the play mats peel off easily, posing a tripping hazard, and there’s a fridge full of glass bottles right next to the play area, fully accessible to children.
I kept coming back due to the lack of alternatives in central Geneva, but this last visit will likely be my final one. My children barely play for 10 minutes—the environment is simply too chaotic and uninviting. It’s truly disappointing, because the location is perfect, the decor is lovely, and the toys are well chosen. What’s missing is proper organization and a genuine focus on the customer experience for Just Bloom to truly live up to...
Read moreI had my daughter's birthday party here and all in all was very satisfied with the experience. The owner has great style and very attentive and easy to work with. The theme we requested was created beautifully and my daughter was thrilled, from the cake to the photowall. To those considering for whom aesthetics are important, I would recommend the semi-private option because there is no party decoration included in the basic package though you can add it as an option. Given the small difference in price with different options we added and the semi-private oprion, in hindsight I wished we went for a semi/private option. Because if you are unlucky there may be other kids playing at the café that day tempted to crash your party (like in our case some kept entering the party area trying to take the snacks and the balloons..). I don't blame the venue for this however because it is the parents who are responsible for setting limits on their children's behavior, and the owner was very apologetic and offered other snacks. I would definitely use their birthday party...
Read moreWe recently celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Just Bloom and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We chose the semi-privatised package, which was exactly what we were looking for – just the right balance of privacy and space.
The booking process was incredibly smooth, and communication throughout was excellent. On the day, everything was beautifully set up: the decorations, including balloon arches and themed details, were lovely and really added to the atmosphere.
The space itself is bright and welcoming, and the kids had an amazing time enjoying the playground, doing some craft activities and dancing. The birthday cake was also delicious – a big hit with both children and adults!
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stress-free, beautifully organised birthday...
