Confiserie Rieder — Restaurant in Interlaken

It is the first time that we (my wife,son & I) have been back to Interlaken in 8 years! I have spoken to people often about this cafe and how good it was when we visited back in 2015. We went there today (Friday,28/07/2023) and I must admit I was a bit apprehensive as to if was as good as it was all those years ago. I needn’t have worried. It was just as good, if not better, than before! All the staff were very friendly and the food was just as good and tasty as it was back then. I would highly recommend to anyone that is visiting Interlaken and want a nice lunch at a reasonable price for Switzerland(!) to visit this cafe. You will not be disappointed. 강추!! This bakery was a lovely place for us to start the day. We already had a cup of coffee in the morning at the hotel room so we only tried the pastries and the cake. It was so fresh and delicious. We had a chocolate croissant (Hubby’s choice) an almond croissant (my choice), a pineapple vanilla cream pastry and a slice of carrot cake 🥕 🍰. Everything was amazing!! Confiserie Rieder in Interlaken is a charming café with a cute outdoor seating area.
