Recently, I had the opportunity to try the Teriyaki Smashburger, and I can highly recommend it. **Taste:** The taste of the Teriyaki Smashburger is truly unique. The teriyaki marinade gives the burger a perfect balance of sweet and savory, which pairs excellently with the juicy beef. The burger is well-seasoned, and every bite is a delight. **Texture:** The Smashburger is known for its thin, crispy crust that results from the special preparation method. This crust provides a pleasant mouthfeel and creates a wonderful contrast to the soft, juicy interior of the patty. The caramelized onions complement the texture perfectly, adding an additional, slightly sweet flavor note. **Ingredients:** The quality of the ingredients is top-notch. High-quality beef and a flavorful teriyaki sauce make the burger a culinary highlight. The buns are soft yet sturdy enough to hold the entire burger together without becoming soggy. **Value for Money:** Given the taste and the quality of the ingredients, I find the price of the Teriyaki Smashburger to be absolutely justified. It offers a great taste experience at a fair price. **Conclusion:** The Teriyaki Smashburger is an excellent choice for all burger lovers looking for something new and flavorful. The combination of the unique teriyaki sauce, the crispy patty, and the caramelized onions makes it a must-try. I will definitely come back to enjoy this burger again and can recommend it without reservations.

I had really high expectations for Sando, as it’s advertised as a burger place with a Japanese twist and also seeing all these yummy pictures on their insta channel. Unfortunately, I was somewhat disappointed. The classic burger felt like a regular smash burger, nothing special. The Tamago burger was good, but again, nothing extraordinary, lacking the distinct Japanese flavor I was hoping for. The fries were below average, and the mayo didn’t have the authentic Japanese taste. Overall, the experience didn’t live up to the hype. Also, you can’t sit and eat anywhere close to the place - and no toilets. If you want to sit, you can go into the neighbouring restaurant „rank“ but you can only order the Teriyaki burger - which makes no sense. I‘ll give it another try next time with the chicken burgers - since they look nice. Maybe there is still a chance for 4 or 5 stars.

Although food was nice and the guy at the counter was fun and friendly and we picked this place with the very intention of avoid the usual Zurich-stingy-client-robbing places, for 48 CHF we had to experience the following: - no bacon available (on dinner time, 7 pm!) which is basically like saying you don't have mozzarella in a pizzeria. - Beside of not having any bundle option, we ordered fries with our burgers, only to find out once we opened the bag that the bag contains exactly 9 fries! 9 fries! see picture for yourself - The card reader at the register asks automatically for a tip! This is a take away only place, so what type of service am I tipping for? I did tip cause I am generous with anyone working in service industry as I work in retail myself, but I assume I tipped for the very generous 9 fries!
