Aqua Restaurant & Bar at Kata beach — Restaurant in Karon

Me and my friends went there yesterday Monday 08-01-2023 in the afternoon/evening time ( I'm thai, my friend from USA ) first very disappointed that the waitress guys doesn't even understand thai and I don't even understand what language he speaking either, I just want to cry because got bad experiences before with all this staff. I'm order fish and I checking the price.. 400 b ( it's ok let say ) and my guy he wants a lobster... I swear the God when the bill came and he told me later it cost him 4500 b. for one stupid lobster not even more than 1.5 kg. long like 30 cm. very tiny not even fat one... 😤😤😤😤.. I'm so very embarrassed but the scammer restaurant doesn't care, no price on the any food menu either. Should I report to government office who controls the price and the immigration to checking... really pissing off, shame of the owner who doing this to tourists and locals like us. Please don't support them and make them out of the market 😤😤😤... I been in fine dining 5 star hotel and we paid over 5000 b. same price as this...

The worst restaurant in the area for sure!! We have never experienced anything like it. We asked the of it was still time to order a dessert and they said yes and brought the dessert, 5 minutes after we received the dessert the waiter came screaming at us, saying that we had to eat faster cause they had to go to sleep. He said he we got 5 min to finish and if we didn’t finish we could jump down from the balcony, cause he would close the door. He didn’t finish there… he continued screaming at us(we were both very calm and quiet), he screamed that we were disrespectful over and over again. The only thing I said, was that they shouldn’t have been taking orders if they can’t give a little time to eat the food being served. When we left he looked like he was ready to fight and he was screaming at us as we left also The worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant(anywhere). The food was also very tasteless in comparison to other restaurants around. Bad cocktails, bad food and TERRIBLE staff...

We came cross the store and would like to dine in. Try to buy some seafood. Two big prawns, after weight, he told us is 1400 th, we try to bargain, see whether it’s ok to have them at 1000, he said no. Then we are about to leave. His face became black. He said some racist words regarding Chinese. We are from Singapore. We come to Phuket every year since 2013.We have no idea why he could say those kind of words. I was so surprised that how he dared to say so.Suddenly I recalled that when we tried to check google review before entering the restaurant, he said this is a new restaurant. However, after we left the store, we found their google review is really bad. Frankly speaking, this is the worst restaurant I never ever met in Phuket. To have a good holiday mood, be away from...
