G seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Karon

We took take-away curry here about a week or two ago, and it was tasty and fairly priced at 100baht including rice As it is really close to our hotel, went again today to dine-in. They had a special 25% off food promotion, which would have meant 75 baht for the same curry as last time. However, once we looked at the menu we saw immediately they had taken the prices from a few weeks ago off, and now the price for the same curry was 130 baht. With the 25% discount that is fair enough still. However, what they charged me for the curry was 130baht and 50baht for an incredibly small portion of steamed rice, which was only two weeks ago included with the curry free of charge. Now most restaurants charge 10 to 20baht for steamed rice so it really is a strech. The fried rice with egg (no meat!!)for 100baht, was one of the saddest fried rices I have ever seen in Thailand. Now it is our fault we didn't check all the prices before but precisely because of this kind of treatment and "tricking" customers I'm giving it one star and I wouldn't go here again. Came here because my partner thought it was nice and cheap, also it was raining and this restaurant was literally in front of our hotel. You get what you paid for. I ordered a seafood pad thai and the noodles were horrible! Dry and taste disgusting! I was expecting an "authentic pad thai". Partner ordered a green curried chicken, there was barely chicken in the dish. I also ordered an iced tea, I got a milktea! Do not fool your customers! I do not recommend this place. The atmosphere was good with live music, the food was normal, but I had a big surprise when I got back to the hotel when I went to check the amount on the card ticket, when they brought me the bill it was 1,575 Bath on the card note 3,346 Bath. They charged me double the price I spent.
