Chose this place for a belated Valentine’s Day date. Booking was easy to make online, and because we made it in advance, we snagged a beautiful beachside table. I picked this place because I liked the general vibe and aesthetic, despite the fact that it had a lower rating than other similarly priced restaurants. On the aesthetic front, it did not disappoint. The scenery was really breathtaking, and I loved the tropical, laid back atmosphere of the restaurant. The service, however, was really terrible - especially considering that the price point made this a relatively high end restaurant. It was incredibly difficult to get the staffs attention, despite there Efforts being several people on shift. We would need to attempt for five minutes to catch their eye, or even wave them down. The waiter that served us also looked annoyed every time we asked for assistance, like when ordering or asking for cutlery, as if it wasn’t her job or we were making ridiculous demands. When the waitress got our order wrong (we asked for a juice and a smoothie), she got irritated when I asked where the juice was, insisting that the juice I asked for didn’t exist (I clarified twice using the menu when we ordered). Since we were thirsty and only had smoothies, I then asked for a water, which in turn, never arrived. We gave up trying to ask for help since the waiters didn’t seem keen on doing much but chatting to themselves and the kitchen staff.
The food was nice, definitely the best western food we had in Thailand on our trip. Overall, for 2 drinks, 2 appetizers and 2 mains, we spent around 1700 baht. Not too pricy, but for this amount of money, I’d recommend going to another restaurant. As someone who has worked in hospitality and customer service her whole adult life, I don’t really think there was much of an excuse for this level of poor service. We still had a great time, but the inattentive and rude staff did make for a less than romantic experience. Would personally take your money to another restaurant where your patronage is...
Read moreUnfortunately with a pre booking asking for a window table inside in the monsoonal weather for our wedding anniversary we arrived to be asked if we had a booking then taken to the restaurant and seated outside due to 30+ booking overtaking restaurant, so we were dismissed along with several other tables, however, eaten alive by insects outside despite our original email and booking with Suthima, only after our pre dinner drink that we had to flag down the waiter for and half an hour of being eaten alive by insects I said we actually booked inside and we are being eaten alive, the head waitress still seated another family in a table we had prebooked then served our meal and told us she would move us in 5 mins. Poor, very poor, however, it was our wedding anniversary so we decided to make the best of it so we moved mid meal. No candle on our table when we arrived, when we were moved still no table candle, then, the head waitress moved the almost burnt out candle from the table next to us and lit a new candle for the empty table ready for the next guests. We decided to make the best of it and ordered another round of drinks and 2 of the 3 desserts on the menu only to be told only ice cream left. Poor, very poor service in my experience when I had talked the restaurant up to my husband l. The head waitress I would name but she didn't have a name badge. We did however tip our drink waiter who couldn't do enough. He shall remain nameless for his sake. Best part of the night was the seafood and the G&T's shame about the service. Won't be...

Cena di capodanno 2024, prenotata dall'Italia 2 mesi prima in questo posto "rinomato" xome uno tra i migliori, menù fisso di 4 portate più un dolce definito alla prenotazione, posto vista mare ambiente suggestivo. costo per la cena di capodanno di 3900 bath a testa escluse le bevande, altino per la Thailandia ma va bene, tutto a prova di stupido, c'erano tutti i presupposti perché fosse una serata magica....
arrivati alle 08.00 ora locale cominciamo con il tavolo sbagliato rispetto alla richiesta della prenotazione.. ok mandiamo giù e si comincia , portano del prosecco imbevibile e dell'acqua.. non passa mezz'ora che cadono 2 gocce di pioggia , si crea il panico essendo tra i tavoli esterni, corrono tutti gli oltre 20 camerieri a coprire con gli unici 2 ombrelloni in loro possesso i 2 tavoli "più facoltosi" lasciando noi sotto la pioggia. entriamo 3 ci scegliamo il tavolo che avevamo prenotato e li parte la discussione con la caposala , la prima di molte. ci sistemano su un tavolino nel passaggio attaccato al bancone dei cocktail.... mentre ci portano la prima portata cominciano ad accalcarsi gli altri ospiti , premesso i più facoltosi sono stati sistemati rapidamente, gli altri ad attendere sotto la pioggia. per far entrare tutti hanno cominciato a COSTRUIRE TAVOLI in sala spostando tutti gli altri, noi, panico totale , 3 ore e mezza per ricevere 4 misere portate, cibo mediocre, camerieri seguivano solo i tavoli che pagavano di più con vini e molte bevande extra, senza mangiare il dolce dopo 3 ore e mezza aspettiamo la portata principale che era una aragosta.. servita gommosa e fredda , gli lancio sul bancone metá del costo del conto e scappiamo via. serata orrenda e pensare che era a prova di idiota, con oltre 20 camerieri nel panico con menù fisso da mesi e nessuno che ci desse retta.. pessimo posto non merita neanche una stella

New Year's Eve dinner 2024, booked from Italy 2 months in advance in this "renowned" place as one of the best, fixed 4-course menu plus a dessert defined upon booking, place with sea view, suggestive environment. cost for New Year's Eve dinner of 3900 baht per person excluding drinks, high for Thailand but that's fine, everything was fool-proof, there were all the conditions for it to be a magical evening....
arrived at 08.00 local time we start with the wrong table compared to the reservation request... ok let's eat it down and get started, they bring some undrinkable prosecco and some water... not half an hour goes by before 2 drops of rain fall, panic sets in being among the outside tables, all over 20 waiters rush to cover the 2 "wealthiest" tables with the only 2 umbrellas in their possession, leaving us in the rain. 3 of us enter, we choose the table we had booked and there the discussion begins with the head nurse, the first of many. they place us on a table in the passage next to the cocktail counter.... while they bring us the first course the other guests begin to crowd in, given that the wealthiest were quickly accommodated, the others waiting in the rain. to get everyone in they started BUILDING TABLES in the room, moving everyone else, us, total panic, 3 and a half hours to receive 4 miserable courses, mediocre food, waiters only followed the tables that paid the most with wines and many extra drinks, without eating the dessert after 3 and a half hours we wait for the main course which was a lobster... served rubbery and cold, I throw half the cost of the bill on the counter and we run away. horrendous evening and to think that it was idiot-proof, with over 20 waiters in a panic with a fixed menu for months and no one who listened to us... terrible place doesn't even...
