I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Goucho Restaurant, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm ambiance of Mr BISHNU who was truly exceptional and the enticing aroma of grilled meats. Steaks The steaks at El Goucho are truly exceptional. I opted for the ribeye wagyu, and it was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The seasoning was spot on, and the char on the outside added a nice texture. Each bite was a delight, and I could taste the quality of the meat. Breads The breads at El Goucho are a revelation! They serve a variety of artisanal breads, each with its own unique flavor and texture. I particularly enjoyed the crusty baguette and the ciabatta. The breads were freshly baked, and the aroma wafting from the basket was heavenly. Paired with the restaurant's signature dips and spreads, the breads were a perfect accompaniment to our meal. Overall Experience The service at El Goucho was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff ( Mr BISHNU) who knew their menu inside out. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, making it an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. Recommendation If you're a steak lover or a bread enthusiast, El Goucho Restaurant soi 11 is a must-visit. The quality of the steaks and breads is exceptional, must try the caramel vodka and the service...
Read moreThis was an absolute gem! We stopped here for a “quick steak” and ended up dining for almost 3 hours!
For starters, the selection of quality meats is excellent. Second, the recommendations, sides, and pairings are on point. Next, the atmosphere is perfect - fun music that enhances the space without being too loud to hold a conversation. The energy is great for a date or a party. Last and most important: the service is some of the best we’ve ever had; and we’ve dined all over the world.
Now on to the food: The Japanese and Australian Wagyu was cooked to perfection. The creamed spinach had a layer of molten/toasted cheese on top. The truffle mashed potatoes had noticeable truffle oil in it - adding a delightful complexity. All of the flavors stood out on their own, but came together masterfully. Then on to dessert, and what a treat that was - incredibly light, but so full of flavor.
After our meal, the staff treated us to their house caramel vodka - wow! The caramel notes are full forward and persist through the shot - not bitterness or “vodka profile” just smooth sweet caramel. We ended up buying two bottles to take home to share with friends. If you happen to be in Bangkok, and have the time; stop into El Gaucho’s Argentinian Steakhouse for an absolute treat of a dining experience. You won’t be...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best steak of my life – but even better service!
Let me put it simply: the food was incredible — juicy, perfectly cooked steak, sides that slap, and cocktails that go down way too easily. But what really made the night unforgettable? Zuu and Bishnu.
These two aren’t just waiters — they’re vibe curators. Zuu welcomed us like royalty, knew the menu inside out, and had the timing of a West End show. Smooth, funny, on it. Meanwhile, Bishnu was a legend — warm, attentive, and somehow always appeared right when you needed him, like some kind of steak-scented guardian angel.
Between them, they made us feel like the only table in the place — and we were not. If Michelin gave stars for service alone, these lads would have a constellation.
If you’re lucky enough to get Zuu and Bishnu looking after you, prepare yourself for one of the best dining experiences you’ll ever have. And if the restaurant’s smart, they’ll give these two a raise. Or at least name a steak after them.
Big love to Zuu and Bishnu — you made our night. We’ll be back...
