Hillary 3 — Restaurant in Khlong Toei Nuea Subdistrict

Just left this establishment and had the worst experience with one of their staff members. Today is Songkran and a lot of people are drenched from head to toe. People are armed with water guns and bowls and sometimes they'll hose you down until you're absolutely dripping. After dancing for a bit, my friend and I went outside to buy candy and we brought our water guns with us. People in the streets poured water all over us (which is totally fine because it's Songkran) and my friend playfully squirted her water gun at me just before we came in and I squirted her back. We were outside and did not purposefully shoot water inside the establishment. But because other people were also shooting water at us, a bit of water splashed just around the entrance of the place. One of their staff members started screaming at us in Thai. We were so confused as we didn't speak any Thai and we expressed that we didn't understand him but he just continued screaming anyway. One other lady staff member also started joining in and exclaiming loudly. Any other day, I would have understood why he was angry. But it's Songkran. We literally cannot control other people splashing at us. If we're drenched, there's no way for us to dry. They were okay with us coming in the establishment wet when we first came in. Which is strange that he started screaming at us. We just moved on and continued to our table, near the entrance, where our other friends were.

Later, a tuktuk driver passed by and man in the back seat started splashing a bit of water towards the entrance of the place. We were seated near the entrance so we saw this happen in front of us. The same man, who screamed at us, grabbed the nearest thing he could get his hand on, (which was a bottle of water) and threatened to throw it at the man in the tuktuk. He was genuinely so angry and seemed like he was violent, like he was about to throw hands. We were shocked but we just continued on. We had already bought drinks and food. We didn't want to waste our night.

I really thought that was the end of it.

Later, we decided we wanted to go home. My friends went to go to the bathroom. My friend and I decided to stay at the table to wait for them. The same man, the one who was screaming at us, and the one who was about to violently throw a bottle of water at a man on a tuktuk, started clearing the table, while we were still seated. We still had our stuff on the table so he started moving our stuff around, as if willing us to pack up. I was confused but my friend and I just continued sitting down. I was then appalled when he tapped my arm hard and repeatedly and said, "YOU HAVE TO LEAVE!"

Mind you, we had only been sitting down for like 2 minutes when he started clearing our table. We hadn't been waiting for our friends for that long.

I was so exhausted at that point. I wasn't even angry. I just calmly took my stuff and left the table.

I went to find the supervisor to file a complaint against the staff member but all she said was "Later! Come back tomorrow." And the complaint was not filed. Based on the other reviews though, I doubt there will be a resolution.

I went here with my friends last night. At about 00.10 am. we reserved a table on 3rd floor, and staff also reserved a table for us. and she told us that 3rd floor opened at about 02.30 am we were okay cuz we are already reserve a table and so we went to the 1st floor to hangout and waited until 2.10 am we went to 3rd floor and sit at a reserved table. there were good service staff, but it was about 02.40 am skinny male staff came in and told us to move the table to another table. his words and deeds were very rude, so I asked, why should we move ? cuz we had already made a reservation, he only said that we should move move move move , so I asked him, how to about the table reservation here ? he said he could make a reservation at 02.30 am and reserve with him ( if u came here u can reserve a table w/ staff not only him ) so I tell you, as a staff , you should talk about this with other staff It's not our fault. we don't move and he said okay you go back to sit if you want but he use very rude words and behaviors. we went back to sit down for a while, and he told us to move the table again and he bring other people's whisky and mixers push on our table , so we don't have a party here, so we go to inform other staff and manager on1st floor what happened w/ us on 3rd floor i often have a party for many place and many years, this is the first time we have seen bad he's service he's bad staff and...

I had a terrible experience with a staff member who pretended to be a highly important manager when in reality he was not. (He is a man and skinny guy wear a black suit but other member told me that he is a Captain) If anyone wanted to make a reservation on the third floor, they couldn't do it with any other staff members; they had to do it exclusively with him. (This is what he said) he tried to give us contact so we can book the table directly with him but we don’t need that because it’s not make sense. We arrived there about midnight and proceeded to make a reservation but not with the persons that I mentioned. At around 2.30 am. he came at our table and rudely requested that we need to move. We don't know why we have to move??. I cannot make a reservation before 2.30 am. he said. This is quite confusing because generally if the service member we booked with couldn't inform us. she should have said something but she said we can do reservations and she wrote my name and her name on the paper put it on the table. We decided to go back immediately when he bring all drinks from another table to our table and move us to another table without permission from us. this is unacceptable and unprofessional at all to handle...
