We’ve been loyal to this place since April 2023 — yes, over two and a half years of coming here regularly. And in all that time? Not once have we ever seen or met a restaurant manager. Just the same friendly female staff who used to recognize us and actually take care of us.
Good Cantonese food, solid service, nice beverage menu — until… our last visit.
We booked as always, but this time we’re told: “You can’t sit inside, only outside.” Alright, maybe they’re busy — fine, we agree. We arrive, sit down (barely), menus land on the table instantly — wow, impressive speed. But then I glance inside… plenty of empty tables. So why exactly are we baking outside like dumplings in the steamer?
And the food? Either they changed the chef or the chef changed planets, because I didn’t recognize a single bite. BBQ pork — chewy. Dumplings — tasteless. Even the Chinese tea, normally reliable, was pre-made and so over-steeped it looked like it could strip paint.
Oh, and remember the wet napkins they used to give you to freshen your hands? Gone. Outside, only one staff member covering all the tables, so to get her attention you basically have to wave your arms like you’re trying to flag down a rescue helicopter.
But here’s the grand finale: we asked to speak to the manager. A woman shows up — someone we’ve never seen before. Clearly doesn’t recognize two-and-a-half-year regulars. We explain the issues. She says, “Okay, let me check.” And then… she vanishes. Houdini. Never came back, never followed up.
It’s honestly sad — and frankly insulting — to see a restaurant we’ve supported for years act like they couldn’t care less. Congratulations, you’ve managed to turn loyal guests into “never again” guests in a single...
Read moreIn general, it was good. With such reasonable price, it was great. I paid the 3hr buffer package 2200baht. That contain Thai herbal message, sesame body scrub and a green tea facial.
The masseuse was great. The facility was clean and roomy. The green tea facial materials were great. The staffs spoke enough English. I found no problem to communicate to them any special needs.
Some possible improvement could be newer towels and little touch up in the massage room.
Dont get me wrong. The towels were clean and not being totally wore out. They were just not very soft and not quite white in color after being machine washed many times. But, it would be more pleasant to the customers if a little newer, whiter and softer towels were provided.
It could be nicer if a hair dryer was provided by the vanity. It might not be needed by all customers. After facials, my hair style was kind of messy, I wish to have a blower there to fix it before leaving.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience. I would recommend it. I would be back again if they have...
