We didn't like the taste overall, probably because the two soups of the hot pot were so salty for us.
This was our first dinner after arriving in Thailand, and the waitress who took the order probably hated her job or didn't like us, or that's the typical attitude, I don't know. I didn't feel very comfortable.
We were exhausted at that time, but she asked me to order the food standing at the front because it would take 10 minutes to prepare the food. What? Only two tables occupied, why could we sit down and look at the menu? Or she could just say it was too late and they were not taking any new customers. Maybe that's the hint she reminded us to leave.
The hot pot and raw food were served by other waiters almost immediately after we placed the order. Some vegetables are provided for free, which of course nobody told us and I figured out by asking. Typically there should be dip sources for hot pot, so again I had to ask if there were dip sources provided or self-serviced. There were paper towels at the other customers' table, and again I had to ask for paper towels.
We were asked to pay before we finished the dinner because they were rushed to go home. The paid time was 9:12 pm, and they claimed to be closed at 10 pm, this part was also a surprise to me. A 10% service fee will be included in the billing. We didn't feel the food and the service match the cost overall. I would walk by...
Read moreThe highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the scrumptious food. The Co Go Round - Thai Shabu offered a wide variety of fresh ingredients, including tender meats, an array of vegetables, and delectable dipping sauces. Read moreI had a great dining experience at this restaurant on the 7th floor of CentralWorld! The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was attentive.
I started with the Hawai drink, which had a bold sourness—perfect for those who enjoy tangy flavors. The pork neck was delicious but a bit salty due to the fish sauce. The Pad Thai, on the other hand, was perfect—well-balanced flavors and just the right level of seasoning.
I also tried the hot pot, which had a mix of spicy, sour, and coconut milk flavors. While it was decent, I found it to be just average compared to the other dishes.
For dessert, the coconut ice cream was a fantastic choice. It wasn’t overly sweet, which I appreciated, and the portion was generous—enough for 3-4 people to share. A refreshing way to end the meal!
Overall, the food quality was excellent, but as expected for a mall location, the prices are slightly higher than street-side restaurants. However, the convenience, ambiance, and great flavors make it a worthy spot to visit. If you’re shopping at CentralWorld and craving authentic Thai flavors, this place is a solid choice!
