One of the worst dining experiences I had while travelling around Thailand for a month.

The first time we ate at Sizzler's a few of us had steaks. Mine was supposed to be medium rare, but it was so overcooked that I could hardly chew through it. The others who had steaks ordered their well done and again somehow they were overcooked.

The second time I had the promotional Korean pork dish. It was four puny slices of bacon in onion broth. And even though we had several sides, we enden up going for a sandwich not long after.

In addition to the food being bad, on the occasions the waiters got our order wrong - in several ways (and we had a couple of fluent Thai speakers with us) . They didn't even bother correcting the order and even kept making mistakes and bringing us sides and drinks that we didn't order.

I will most likely never come backcor...

Surprised to learn, Sizzler in Thailand isn't a steakhouse. It's a place where people go and eat from the included salad bar until they're full, and then they'll ask for their chicken or salmon to be take-away for next days dinner.

Their salad-bar is alright, though not anything special. Service is slow, and I waited quite long for my main. When I asked what happened to my order, it came 30 seconds later... almost cold. So I guess it had been finished for a while, but nobody cared bringing it to the table... Disappointing.

That said, the price at Sizzler in Thailand is very reasonable, so they will earn themselves 3 stars for overall value.

Sizzler is clearly a family restaurant here, not a steakhouse, so bring your ear-plugs and you'll be alright. (I took a photo of their salt & pepper set, as I found that to be the best thing about...

Hungry for some steak after almost 3 weeks of lots of Thai food- don’t get me wrong I looove Thai food but I’m a ‘farang’ and I needed this sizzler steak! Very busy but only waited maybe ten minutes, no worries Sat at freshly cleaned table, given clean cutlery. Loved the salad bar, good choice, more choice here than the l sizzler at terminal 21- I think terminal 21 must be the smallest sizzler in Bangkok? Been to a few sizzlers in Thailand over the years and they are consistently very good presentation, food, cleanliness, staff. Anyway Cooked how I like it, very big, juicy- highly recommend- lots of choice for salad, staff very attentive, constantly filling up my soda glass whilst eating my steak. This is a chain restaurant so bear that in mind if you are looking for a more quiet...
