🍣 Omakase at Shinkanzen Sushi – A Hidden Gem in Siam! 🇯🇵✨
Tucked away on the third floor of Shinkanzen Sushi near Siam Square, I had the pleasure of experiencing their premium omakase course today. 🎏 The setting was calm, intimate, and perfect for a slow, mindful meal. 🧘♂️🍶
The ingredients? Absolutely top-tier. 🐟💎 From the buttery otoro to the perfectly seared aburi, each bite was a harmonious blend of flavor, temperature, and texture. 😋🔥 They served uni, scallop, and even a beautifully presented anago – all incredibly fresh. 🌊🍥
Though omakase spots are often crowded, I was surprised – today, I had the counter all to myself. 🎌🪑 Still, I recommend calling ahead to book, just in case. 📞📅
The chef? A true master. 🍳🎓 Not only was he skilled with the knife, but he was also warm, funny, and eager to share insights about each dish and its origin. 🧑🍳📖 He made me feel welcomed and engaged throughout the meal. 🙏😊
The service staff were equally delightful – polite, attentive, and professional. 💁♀️💫 Every plate was served with care, and I felt truly taken care of. 🫶💖
All in all, this was one of the most satisfying omakase meals I’ve had in Bangkok – especially at this price point. 💯💵 Whether you’re a sushi lover or looking to try omakase for the first time, this place offers an approachable yet elevated experience. 🚀🍣
Highly recommended for a quiet escape into the world of Japanese fine dining. 🎐🇯🇵 I’ll definitely be back...
Read moreYesterday I try this restaurant for the 2nd time as last time delivery took 2 hours and arrived cold. So I select and pay priority and end up with driver cancelling order near my building for « accident » but, finally the driver showed up with order and trying to get payment for himself.
I called and tried to pay restaurant directly with QR to get my food, was already 1 hour waiting again so I did not mind.
Driver was following me, would not let me contact food panda, asked for money, my food was there he said cannot pay the restaurant because order was damaged. I called and asked restaurant for help.
I told them driver threaten me and follow me try to get the bafg of food from my hands multiple times.
I tried to ask the restaurant to help and pay by QR code. No body in team able to manage or communicate professionally. Mo body help and restaurant ended up saying i could not keep my food after two hours and the food here in front of me and the driver try to rob the payment... The restaurant did not do anything for me just one message saying we apologize before to block my number.
The order was there I had to let it go, driver try to take order from my hands. Restaurant did not propose anything. After 2. Hours we went to buy dinner at 7/11. Shame on the management of this place and customer service. Will never order again and this driver and place...
Read moreI recently discovered a fantastic sushi spot near Siam Square that's definitely worth checking out. The menu is extensive, the prices are incredibly reasonable, and the quality of the food is top-notch. The ingredients are always fresh, and the sushi is prepared to perfection. Each bite of the salmon roe sushi was a burst of flavor, with the fresh roe popping in your mouth and the sushi rice being perfectly cooked. I also enjoyed the various maki rolls, each one packed with delicious fillings.
The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is quick. I tried ordering through their app, but the English interface wasn't fully developed, which made it a bit inconvenient. However, this didn't significantly impact my dining experience.
The ambiance of the restaurant is a bit dark, and a little more lighting would make it feel more cozy and inviting.
Overall, this is a great sushi place with affordable prices that you should definitely try when visiting Siam Square. If you're a sushi lover, you won't want to...
