Zaap Spicys — Restaurant in Patong

The foods are amazing and super delicious. I’m the regular guest of this restaurant since I have come to Phuket for my vacation. Every staff knows me very well and what I like. However, with all due respect, unfortunately, yesterday and today’s service were terrible. I came there with my friend and I ordered a lot of food and one of them was my best friend”Tom Yam Soup”. When they serve the the Tom Yam Soup for two people portion, there was a very long lady hair under the soup bowl and it got stuck to the bowl.

Ton Yam Salad 10/10 😊 Tom Yam Soup 10/10, but I’ll give 1/10 because of the long hair😓 Baked Potato 10/10 Shrimp with Tamarind Sauce 6/10 Calamari 7/10

The service wad bad. Not satisfactory. I requested my table to be cleaned with the check. The waiter brought the check and did not clean my table. Then, thank to same person who gave us complimentary watermelon 🍉. However, withour cleaning the table you cannot serve any dish (this is the first thing).

The second thing is you cannot place the dish on the very dirty plates by getting support from the filthy tissues in the middle of the table.

These are my recommendations as a General Manager for the Michelin Star restaurants. I’m not expecting the same service, however, I must expect the basic at least.

The service team must be trained at least for basic from the beginning till end of it. What should be done? How should be done?

I hope, the management will take some actions at least about plating and checking the dishes before sending them to table from the pass control. Hence, you can ensure your guest happiness and satisfaction will get better. You have a very nice restaurant. You should not ruin your guest experience...

Stopped in for a late dinner and a coke. It was really busy, and I understand why. This is a really great find. While its decor and outward appearance is, dated, typical of the general style in the area, it outshines many others on price, quality, and meal size! I ordered bbq chicken breast and fried rice with shrimp. I also order BBQ prawns from the specials menu. The prawns were particularly tasty and a good size, with 6 of them served up on my plate. Terrific value for less than 100 baht. This place is clean inside and out and delivers great meals at an affordable price....

Best Thai food and drinks... Ms Ann and her staffs are really great hosts and treat you like her family... We came to the restaurant on two consequitive days for dinner.. Cashew nuts chicken, chilli prawns with egg fried rice were really signature dishes.. My daughter loved the lemon juice... If you really want an authentic thai food in patong with reasonable price... The you must choose Zaap Spicy.. We enjoyed complimentary watermelon and organic cashew nuts.. 😋😋 Thank you Ms Ann for hosting us... We would love to come...
