Lovely spacious restaurant with wholesome delicious food a stones throw away from the Grand Bazaar. Lots of readymade cabinet food on offer and the service staff is attentive and helpful. Bathrooms were also nice and clean. Highly recommended. It cost our family of 5 around TLY 2400 including a couple of desserts, one bottle of ayran and a cup of tea.

Geçen gün Çemberlitaş’ta bi işimizi hallederken midelerin boşaldığını farkedip nerede yesek diye düşünürken aklıma geldi, baktım haritaya, karşı çaprazındayız 😀 Üst katta olduğu için yıllardır gidip geldiğim sokakta hiç farketmemişim. Tırmandık dik merdivenlerini, güzel ferah ve aydınlık bir ortam, sade ama ince detaylarla döşenmiş, bembeyaz ütülü masa örtüleri ile iç açıyor. Alışılmış esnaf lokantalarına göre epey az çeşit vardı ama patlıcan varsa bana hep kafî 😀 Bir de Arnavut ciğeri severim, o yoktu. Eşim de dana kavurma söyledi, bölüşmelik pilavımızı da söyledik, dana kavurma çok lezizdi, benim patlıcan da çok lezzetliydi ve ben yiyemiyorum, eşim domates ve biberin de çok lezzetli olduğunu söyledi, plastik gibi sert, tatsız tuzsuz domateslerden sonra bunu da değerlendirir olduk, tabi sera domatesi o plastiğe benzeyenler, mevsim dışında tüketmemek gerek. Uzun lafın kısası belli ki malzemelerini iyi seçiyorlar, doğru yerden temin ediyorlar.

After bumping into Aslan almost by chance the first time, we have come back a second in just a few days - the restaurant is cozy, the service is great and the food is so tasty and homely. When ordering, just trust the suggestion of the staff and the cook!

It was very expensive for only 2 person: 2 dish with 1 garnish cost us 47$. As I can see from other comments it shouldn't be so expensive. I guess it was special price for foreign tourists. Why I have made this conclusion THEY DON'T MAKE THEIR MENU PUBLIC. There is no any information about cost. Left really unpleasant impressions. I could hardly recommend to someone else, cause you actually could find something less expensive but...

The restaurant is very expensive and the food is not good. The French fries came cold directly after we ordered. The Dinner Kebab costs 500 TL, and it came a small portion of some pieces of Kebab with 4 to 5 cold French fries.

The staff were very nice and polite. Helpful and tried to help very much. That 2 stars goes to the nice people .

I also ordered a salmon fish for 650 TL. The fish was delicious, but it was only fish...

Excellent restaurant, I warmly advise it to anyone in the area of the Big Bazaar!! The dishes are just delicious, traditional food that warms the heart. It was advised to me by a friend that lived in Istanbul and I am very thankfully for this discovery! If I am again in Istanbul I will definitely come back!
