Oh man, a bit disappointed with this place. Great prices on drinks and cocktails and nicely decorated throughout and friendly staff but that's where it ends. It was Sunday so was looking for a place to eat I'd read a few reviews some good some bad, and decided to go to this place, MUSIC was playing on full blast at 6pm, prime eating time, Decided to look over this and went in. I basically already knew what I wanted to eat and so did my partner, went to order but because the music through the speakers was so loud even the bartender struggled hearing me, this subsequently ended up with them getting my order wrong. Sat with partner and service was slow, I really have no idea how as there were only maybe 10 other people eating at that time. Whilst waiting and essentially shouting at my partner to make conversation because of the music I'd pray for when the playlist changed to another song as it'd give my ears a rest. Food came eventually and was burnt and dry. I'd had smothered chicken. Now smothered chicken to me is chicken breast wrapped in bacon with cheese and smothered in bbq sauce, I mean so if I wanted to I could use the excess bbq sauce from the chicken with my chips. The bbq sauce on this was almost nowhere to be seen almost a sachet amount of bbq. it had also been haphazardly thrown on the plate as there were '' skid'' marks on the plate were the chicken piece had been transferred from pan to plate (Honestly guys just skim round the side of the plate with a cloth or something, it only takes 2 seconds and makes that presentation a whole lot better). I had to double check the menu to make sure mine didn't say flamegrilled which it didn't, I also didn't get a tomato. Partner had cheese pie, which again was burnt, they also never brought the veg out that I thought I'd ordered but apparently I never did, again I think this was down to the fact that neither I, my partner, or the bartender could hear anything because the music so so loud.

Ended up getting a full refund finished my beer and left abit saddened with the whole experience really, I don't like wasting meat or any food for that matter, so stuff only goes back when it's bad

A few things for them to learn on this one as I can see at their heart they are a bar first and restaurant second and passionate about their business but...

  1. turn that music down, if you are a restaurant/pub then turn it down to a level so people can have a conversation but still hear that background music, soon as 9pm comes along and you've stopped serving food then turn the music up and let the party begin.
  2. get those tables wiped properly, there's nothing worse than putting your arm on a table and it just being a sticky mess, soon as someone's left the table after a drink or food a waiter waitress or bartender should be there like lightning, glasses and pots away and a cloth and cleaning stuff ready cleaning that table ready for the next person. Beer +table+heat =sticky tables.
  3. stop burning the food, please either get a chef that can cook competently or just dont serve table food at all or just do pizzas or what ever. I know my 2 meals don't account for then whole menu but it doesn't matter who you serve to or what you serve, every meal should be to a quality standard which mine was not .
  4. wait times need to be cut down, i think maybe cutting down the time it takes from when food is ordered to service would also help the burnt food situation. fresh food doesn't take long to cook.

I'd like to see this place succeed more I really would as prices are bang on...

OK, i admit it, I was a Bottomless Brunch virgin (because I'm middle aged and we didn't have this when I was in my 20s šŸ˜…) Went with a wonderful crew of NHS colleagues, ranging from early 30s to cough mid 50s and there were groups of all ages in there, so I didn't feel out of place at all - first hurdle hurdled šŸ˜…šŸ‘šŸ» Then the food was good, the drinks delicious, and the atmosphere friendly and vibrant. Highly recommend the Rumbungo but the non-alcoholic version was great too! (Yeah, I paced myself, like I said, I'm now middle-aged šŸ˜†) Special mention to the waitress, Emily, who was stellar šŸ™šŸ». Considering you paid once and it was kind of an all-inclusive experience for 2 hours - and therefore they could have been stingy with the drinks, or at the very least, reactive in terms of service - Emily was really proactive and ensured all her tables were consistently catered for, so we were never without a drink on the go, if not 2 šŸ˜… Honestly, the best place to pop my Bottomless Brunch cherry and I've recommended to my daughter and her boyfriend and their...

We visited here for the crafternoon tea. We saw it advertised at £36 pp so wanted to give it a try. This is unlimited craft beer or prosecco with a selection of small dishes main and dessert. We had wings, pretzel bites, sliders, cookie dough, donut bites and cheesecake bites. All of the food was very tasty and we thought that the whole experience was of good value.

We were blown away by the service. We turned up when the football final was on and it was rather busy. Our server Issy L was absolutely fantastic. She was so friendly and attentive, she made sure that we had everything we needed and we did not wait for our drinks to come. She helped set a fantastic atmosphere as did the whole team. They were so busy but were all working hard with smiles on their faces! We spoke with the manager (I think Dan) who was also fantastic and friendly. He must be a great manager as his team were so happy working and creating a good atmosphere! We will be coming to try the bottomless brunch soon! Thanks to the team for a...

The best bottomless brunch in Chester! Vibrant atmosphere, great music and the best service by far. Issy was the absolute best! We were so well looked after by Issy, the drinks just kept coming and we didn't have to ask! Definitely the best table service by a mile. The Music Hall tap offers the best service, food and cocktails. It certainly is the best bottomless brunch in Chester. The place was bouncing but the service was excellent. A good mixture of all ages too so we didn't feel old 😁 A huge thanks to Issy for making our afternoon so enjoyable.
