Clarendon Fine Art Chester — Attraction in Great Britain

DO NOT purchase a Mr Brainwash or any other piece from Clarendon Art – ANY STORE. I never leave negative reviews; however I would hate for our experience to be repeated for another Clarendon Art customer. My partner and I bought a Mr Brainwash last year having been sold the lovely story about how half of a dollar bill would be attached to the art that we purchased, and the other half of the bill would come through the post from the USA in time. After waiting for months to receive the other half of the dollar bill and chasing this up regularly we were informed that it would be coming in time and to be patient. With Clarendon art being what we thought was a reputable company we just naively believed this would happen. Months later we were given the extremely disappointing news that the dollar and the authenticity certificate had been lost in transit by the courier. We were subsequently reassured that this matter would be dealt with, and we would receive a refund when we went into the store and spoke to multiple staff and via text message, however we were also offered the opportunity to exchange for another Mr Brainwash piece. When we declined the exchange and requested a full refund, we were informed that this was not possible with a message from Client Services and one of the CEO’s as shown in the picture attached to this review. SO now we are left with a picture that we do not want, and I can’t even look at to enjoy given the disservice and disappointment that we have endured so please, do not waste your time or money, unless you want to be left with something that is worth much less than you paid and no support if things do not work out from Clarendon.
