If you're looking for a sweet treat in Chester, this is the place to go! Hands down! The owner is an extremely passionate pastry chef who sells high class gourmet pastries as well as delicious takes on comfort food classics (like brownies).
Her background as a pastry chef in the Grosvenor hotel really shines through and seeing how her skill and creativity culminates in her food is a delight! Her service is immaculate! She is always willing to have a chat and talk in great detail about her newest pastries, which she pours her heart into through the flavour and presentation.
If you purchase something from her, she'll often make the finishing touches right in front of you so that you know the taste is exactly as intended!
I can't walk past her stall without grabbing myself a brownie, which isn't great for my diet, but great for my soul 😂 she deserves all the support she gets from the locals and she deserves your support as well!
Definitely pop down and grab a brownie if she has any (they sell out quick) literally the best I've had To be able to get a Michelin star quality pastry at £3 is incredible, I simply cannot recommend this place enough!

Read moreHidden amidst the hustle and bustle of Chester Indoor Market, my eye was drawn to a stall called The Pastry Pedaleur, where i discovered the most wonderful delights, the likes i had never seen before. After much indecesion, i finally made my selection of cakes, and the most friendly and bubbly proprietor packaged my treats. I returned home and immediately boiled the kettle so that i might enjoy a cup of earl grey tea ti accompany my delights from the Pastry Pedaleur. It was almost a crime to cut into the beautiful cakes, but i did, and when i tasted the cakes, for that moment i was transported to heaven. I had never experienced such delights, and now i am hooked on those addictive treats @ The Pastry Pedaleur. Thank you so much for...

On our first visit, we tried a slice of the Bakewell Tart and the banana brulée.
The Bakewell Tart was the most delicious Bakewell Tart that we have tried! The pastry was light and flaky, the cherry jam was tasty with a hint of lemon and not too sweet, and the toasted almonds on top was the cherry on the tart! It was so good that we went back on the next day to buy the whole tart! Yes, it was that good!
The banana brulée was so moist and delicious! Better than the ones in the chain coffee shops like Caffé Nero.
This stall is definitely a must when in Chester! So glad to have found...
