They’ve removed reviews off their Facebook page so that tells you a lot. Worse experience, total rip off, paid for bottomless brunch, booked for 4pm didn’t get our 1st drinks until 4.30pm. Staff are unfriendly and rude, delay coming to you to order drinks, kept passing it off to another member of staff who then takes 10 mins to come to you to take your order then another 10 mins to make your drinks. Cant order at the bar which we tried after being fed up of waiting. Was constantly sat without a drink waiting to order or for the drink to arrive. Even with our food we was eating without a drink and asked about 4 or 5 times! Food wasn’t the best, bland and tasteless. No cutlery on the table, nobody came to check if food was ok, no condiments, nobody cleared the plates or empty glasses away we had to move them ourselves. On payment we’d already paid £5 deposit per person but they didn’t take this off the bill, I assume this is a tactic again to try and take your money as they think people are drunk at this point and won’t notice they’ve not taken the deposit off the bill. Not one staff member smiled or made us feel welcome. Table wasn’t ready when we arrived either and we asked to start ordering drinks but they said no the table will be ready soon! Find a better alternative I won’t go back. Not worth £38 when you can’t order drinks! Great place with good food and have done well with the new norms of social distancing. Bouncer was really friendly and welcoming on arrival, told us exactly what to do in terms of hand sanitiser/where to wait to be seated. Then friendly waitress got us to leave our details for the track & trace, giving us a new pen and paper out the packaging for hygiene reasons. Downloaded the app- simple enough to use but have to make an account which I suppose is fair when you're typing in bank details to pay. Orded two falafel burgers with new potatoes which were unreal- perfectly seasoned we ordered sweet potato fries just in case but the new potatoes were so good and salted perfectly we didn't really need them! Cocktails were great for the price. Dessert was Knickerbocker Glory, no skimping on size which was fab, and Malteser Cheesecake which was lovely albeit pretty small for the price and the plate is was served on. It's OK but you couldn't really say much else.. The staff a friendly enough.. The food is a real let down though. A lot of things from a packet, rather than good quality food cooked by a talented chef. Maybe I'm a little harsh as the prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are good.

What makes it hard for me to give anything greater than three stars, is that there a better eating establishments both for food and decor wise for the same price. Is it worth popping in..? Yeah I guess, if your close.. Just dont expect to be wowed..
