What a fabulous visit to this new cocktail bar. If you're familiar with the tailor's in the Kingsman films, you'll understand the concept here. You enter premises and go downstairs to a 'tailor's' consulting area, where you're greeted by a friendly member of staff who will give you a background story and discuss your requirements. You are then shown through a secret passageway into the bar itself. Brilliantly designed and decorated, with themed booths and pictures, sewing machines and tailor mannequins, the place is so interesting to look around. We were welcomed by our friendly waitress, who brought over our first cocktails and a complimentary box of popcorn. Once we'd settled in, an incredible Alice in Wonderland afternoon tea was brought in. This was accompanied by a lovely Jabberwocky cocktail, served in the most stunning tea service. The food was delicious. A selection of sandwiches, warm scones served with clotted cream and choice of jams, then amazing macaroons and homemade cakes. Far too much to eat there and then, but we were given a box to take the remainder home. One of the best afternoon teas we've had! Another couple of cocktails followed - Arabian Nights, which was served from a magical, 'smoking' genie lamp, and an Iron Man cocktail, served from an Iron Man mask filled with dry ice. Fantastic! We chatted with the owners of the bar, who were all so friendly and lovely. Such interesting people too! The bar sells their own range of spiced rums, all with military-themed names, and we were told that a percentage of the sales of each of them goes to a different military charity. I was recommended here by my sister. We were a party of 7 including my 4 year old daughter. On arrival we were amazed,the layout of this place is incredible,very happy with our greeting! Very good and quick service. We were sat down which we we were greated with ice cold bottled water and popcorn,which went down a treat, we started of with cocktails which were amazing! My daughter wanted to join in,she experienced a mock tail which she hasn't stopped talking about! Staff were so good with my daughter,nothin was to much. We ordered a Pancake board which was amazing,fresh hot Pancakes,fresh fruit and and amazing biscoff dip which I would highly recommend! We had sweet potatoes fries and normal fries,again quick and piping hot! Little shout out to the manager (can't remember her name) brilliant with my little girl, polite and talkative, i could smell the cleaness as i came down the stairs of this place,we will be returning very soon!...

Were looking for a Speakeasy bar in Liverpool, after coming across the concept in Birmingham.

A few options, however, selected Tailor's based on other reviews, advertising and the quirky look, been screened by a tailors clothes alteration shop.

Down stairs of the main street, then knock on a door to be welcomed by JJ, where we gave a secret password.

JJ was straight into the theatrics taking us on the journey, looking at portraits in a lounge room to identify characters, then been taken through to the secret bar, through a secret door.

Drinks option's were great and with some drinks came a detective/puzzle came. We were Sherlock Holmes cracking a mathematical puzzle. JJ kept the theatrics going through out to make it a memorable experience. Drinks expertly made by Emma.
