Went in today with my boyfriend to use a free 30 minute game given to us in a flyer by a nice staff member in front of the venue.
While finishing up our first pool game (which took us roughly 10 minutes based off the pictures we took before we started), another staff member came by and asked us if we had booked the table. We explained that we are using the free half hour, to which she replied "Oh, well your time's definitely up then," and proceeded to bring 2 customers to our table and set up their game while we stood very visibly confused as our 30 minutes had not been used up yet.
Luckily, we were brought to another table and spoke to presumably the manager about the encounter who apologised and left us to finish up our 30 minutes.
The lack of communication and basic respect from that employee was enough for us to decide to leave a Google review. I can understand wanting to get people to get a table as you need customers, however just a simple double check and polite demeanor would have been enough.
On a better note, the atmosphere was great, everything looks well maintained and every other staff member was polite and kind as ever, so thank you very much everyone else! I would definitely come back despite this, but unfortunately I don't think...
Read moreWarning if you are disabled or have young children - you are not welcome, this is not an accessible venue! Despite what they claim on their website/online.
I phoned up in advance to check about this and was told âyes we are an accessible venue and have a liftâ etc. I tripled checked because they also have another venue in Stratford which is accessible (apparently) but they were insistent that the Covent Garden venue was too.
But when I turned up I was told by the door staff that there was no lift.
I was suspicious about this (most of the bar is in a basement below street level, so how would they get beer kegs etc downstairs easily?).
So, I got a friend to speak to other staff members later on, and of course they do have a lift, the door staff were lying. But they donât let customers use it.
So ignore what they say on their website and/or claim on the phone. If you are in a wheelchair or have a pram etc go somewhere else.
Very poor - just be honest and tell the truth to your potential customers! Sadly discrimination against disabled people etc continues, even in a city like London in the year 2025. Please do boycott this place if you have a sense...
Read moreThis was our second time at B&B for darts and food. However, this time had me making a review because the service from Oliver was outstanding. I absolutely hate that they didn't have a way for us to tip him on card. The staff there is ALWAYS lovely, but his attentiveness was above and beyond. We felt like family there today and were fully taken care of from moment one til we left. He was even helping take care of things that he didn't have to. What a gem!
As for the food, everything we've had there was great. I only gave 4 stars because it is still bar food and it's not perfect (although, that cheesecake was pretty close).
The darts are less expensive than other places with interactive darts because it uses a video screen instead of projector over the board (we do prefer Boom Battle Bar for that), but the much lower price makes it okay and it is still competitive fun. They also have shuffle board, pool, mini golf, ping pong, and probably other things we haven't tried. It's definitely something I recommend for a night out that is more than drinks and small talk (ick, shivers).
We'll be back one more time before our trip is over,...
