Holy moly, Black Sheep Coffee is the real deal! These guys have been spreading like wildfire across the city, and for good reason. Their coffee is like a punch in the face (in the best way possible).

I'm a die-hard coffee lover, and let me tell you, Black Sheep's espressos and flat whites are like a shot of pure rocket fuel. This stuff is not for the faint of heart. If you're looking for a mild, watered-down coffee experience, then keep on walking, my friend.

But if you're like me and want a coffee that'll wake you up faster than a bucket of cold water to the face, then Black Sheep is your jam. The baristas know their stuff and brew the coffee to perfection every time.

The atmosphere in the coffee shop is pretty cool too - it's like a trendy industrial space with a mix of locals and tourists. It's the perfect spot to get your caffeine fix and people watch at the same time.

Just be warned - this coffee is not to be trifled with. If you're sensitive to caffeine or just looking for a mild coffee experience, then maybe skip Black Sheep. But if you're ready to take your coffee game to the next level, then definitely give these guys a try. You won't regret it (well, maybe your heart rate will, but...

I’ve just ordered on the app. Walked to the Leadenhall building. Security team have said store closed due to a planned power isolation. Yet didn’t stop me ordering on the app and wasting precious limited weekend time, money and even loyalty points

An update. For Black sheep’s cock up. And 2 follow up complaints. They gave me a total of 2/3 loyalty points toward only one coffee for the inconvenience of 2 of us wasting 20 minutes of our time for a poor management blunder. That’s how they apologise to a customer that spends £8.50 nearly every weekday. So over £1500 a year. So I now spend my money at Grind and blank street or urban baristas if central. Shame. As the Canary wharf store had a great team. But Black sheep lacks customer complaint service.

Black sheep stated if you have any refund issue, it can only be dealt with by that store as they are a franchise only. So they don’t really value their own...

Happened once, happened twice, time for review. 3 baristas standing by the counter. Everyone doing something while speaking to each other. When approached them and tried to order coffee been told to go and order via self service. Replied that I want to order with them. Been refused again with explanation that their machine out of service. Which was clearly a lie. Self service is great technology especially when you in the rush and don’t want to stay in the queue. But when coffee shop is empty and there are numerous baristas thats something else. People probably forgot about Covid times and how interaction with people is important. I refused to order and stayed outside to smoke. More customers come in. Barista finished unpacking milk and suddenly his machine is working again! After seeing this approached him and he couldn’t even raise his head to make eye contact, it was...

Horrible approach to plastic and waste. Visited for the second time today and asked for a real ceramic cup. Once again refused, despite dozens of clean cups being lined up on the top of the coffee machine. We were a big group sitting in and every person was given a disposable cup with a plastic lid. Bins overflowing with waste and clean cups lined up unused. The manager even banned the baristas from giving out real cups! Bad attitude from all staff. Absolutely ridiculous and clearly no care for the environment. Wont be returning, so disappointing. Drinks tasted horrible in plastic coated disposable cups too.

Quick coffee spot at the bottom of the Leadenhall Building. Have had their coffee before and not a huge fan but I mainly opt for their matcha drinks which are very good. Their seasonal gingerbread and white chocolate matcha drinks were fantastic and their year round variants are good too. Compared to other matcha spots like Blank Street for example, I’d say their matcha is less authentic and more sweet but do come in larger portions. Have had their pastries too and that was great.
