The view is absolutely stunning, and for a Monday afternoon, the atmosphere was pleasant, with friendly service.
However, the experience was let down by some operational quirks. The table only had a pared-down cocktail menu, and accessing the full menu required downloading an app via a QR code (which I wasn’t keen on). There was no written menu available, so the server explained the options verbally. Unfortunately, her tablet didn’t include an ingredients list or allergy information, which led to a bit of back-and-forth before we could place our order.
The cocktails were lovely, and the snacks (cheese platter, meat platter, and sweet potato fries) were enjoyable. However, the bread was stale, and we weren’t offered cutlery, napkins, or plates until we specifically requested them—essential, especially when dealing with some of the cheeses that needed a knife.
Paying was also unnecessarily complicated. There was no printed bill, only a list displayed on the server’s tablet, which was confusing and not customer-friendly. We only received a proper receipt after paying and specifically asking for it. The system felt quite odd and inconvenient.
That said, I’d return for the incredible view and hope that the service and processes improve—for the sake of both...
Read moreReally disappointed and offended with the service. I came into the hotel looking to book an area for 15 people, the first gentlemen I met was fantastic really friendly and helpful, he also told me that I could reserve a space with no deposit and sent me a list of packages that were available. I went in later on the day to book the space and pay for a few drinks and bottles of wine to be left on the table. At this point a lady came over to help me book but i was told that to book the table I would have to pay £35 per person there and then as I was still unsure of number I called my partner to see if I should make this payment of £525 and he suggested i wait until the end of the day to be sure of numbers, when i told the lady this she just stared at me with an incredibly fake smile and didn't say anything so I very uncomfortably walked away. even though it was a lot of money i would have been happy to make the payment but the thought of coming back and being judged by this person again outweighed the beautiful location and views very bad...
Read moreNow, here's a great place to round off your day in the capital. With a great range of stimulating places to sit, drink and chat and the treat of panoramic views around the Tower of London, CloudM is for me, the perfect setting to relax and chill after a busy day in the City. It was an absolute pleasure to be served by young Swiss Greg, who really made me feel valued as a customer. I was also surprised at the prices of the drinks that I would have expected to be higher given the venue and its location. I sat outside on a beautiful London evening, of which I hope my photos offer you a taste. I could have sat here for hours sipping and reminiscing with friends, and I will look into hiring one of their meeting rooms in the future. Overall, it was a really lovely experience and one I hope to repeat many times...
